Saw this and thought of you: http://www.recyclingexpert.co.uk/turning-seashore-rubbish-into-knitted-art.html

Lovely day today albeit slightly windy, did make me think I could never cope with Orkney wind :s

    What a great idea!

Talking of recycling things, spotted this the other day :Dhttp://www.naturedetectives.org.uk/NR/rdonlyres/D821AC5A-EFB1-4EEC-AA49-8792049D2A3A/0/bag_welly.pdf

  • Ok found the garage bills - they need paid and I need to ring them.

I've banks to check again and more pad's to do

I'm finding this wages lark a bit odd

I've not spent just about anything except it all going to debt.

Which is great - but I'm confused when I see money in the bank. Not that I'm moaning.

    Its so unnatural.

Pippi, your comments today just sort of prove how hard its been for you - its a shame that after all your hard work in coping, the money that you *do* now have coming in has to go on paying down the debt, but at this rate, it really won't take long, and then that money will be *yours*! And you'll feel so rich!

    Morning all,

You are all welcome to visit here whenever you want.

Are you sure some of you didn't sneak in and have some millionaire shortbread?? If not, then DH and DS2 must be feeling better and back to munching. Luckily I froze half of the tray when I cut it up..as the rest has all gone!! There are a few scones left though! :)

I was busy sewing yesterday, making this and this. Really pleased with them both...going to make a few more methinks!!

Right, need to do some IT work for my evening class tonight...definitely going to make it tonight, missed the last two and only two sessions left, so need to catch up!

Have a great day all...ooh, exciting wedding natter! :);):)

I spoke to cheery about it the other day - its funny when you get down to the nuts and bolts of what you can live on minimally - its hard to adjust.

(not that I've not gone crazy of course, all those bonios for peedie and - I'm planning a few adventures and I couldn't find a pair of second hand knee length boots, so I've had to go and buy a pair of new boots (in the sale half price and then 20% off ) my first new pair of shoes in um, I can't remember.......

At least the debts will be gone soon! :)

You're right - then I guess I don't need any more boots clearly.

Therefore I can plan more adventures :T
