It is EXTREMELY representative of the area in which I live, work and invest.
I have never ever once stated what was happening in NI for example ... just reporting that, in my area, boom times are evident.
I also give warning that these events will happens up North soon - those who are very smart will buy there NOW.

How reliable is ZOOPLA over the last 10 weeks, because that's when I have seen the major, massive, boom in prices.
I note that you completely ignored the INCREASE if you look at 2 years ago!
You are clearly a muppet .... :rotfl:

We got a lot of news over here about the floods. It looked terrible. My son's school raised quite a bit of money to help but it's nothing compared to what's needed.
A mate of mine in insurance reckons insured losses are > $10,000,000,000 and that uninsured losses will dwarf that.
The way it's been reported here it looks like people were just living in the flooded areas as they presumably either didn't have anywhere else to go or couldn't afford to get out.
One of the main reasons for people staying put was looting.
Everything was conveniently stacked upstairs in a bedroom. Thieves were coming along at night in boats breaking into the upstairs window and taking everything.
Where we live people got together and did the community spirit thing. It was great to see really. They toughed it out and all mucked in.
I expect it has the same sort of atmosphere experienced in the world wars.We love Sarah O Grady0 -

Einstein suggested that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results
In essence, he was talking about people like you, who continually try to convince people that house prices are increasing, despite every single piece of evidence showing falls.
The data on houseprice changes on Zoopla is Land registry sold prices data...and thus 100% accurate..so sorry to prove you wrong, yet again. You must be terrified to see all your investments losing money hand over fist.
You just keep paying stamp duty to the government.
And you keep paying mortgage interest to the banks.
And you just keep paying builders the mainitainance and renovation costs
And you just keep paying insurance companies for the buildings insurance
There's a good boy
All the while, I'll keep renting for cheaper than I can buy and investing the difference....whilst house prices continue to fall...0 -
