  • Yes I received tracking information, thats why I stated that they were delivered to different address, One says left at number 26.. Theres not even a 26 in my street and I knocked on number 24 + 26 (As im at number 24) in the next street and they dont have them. I phoned Yodel again yesterday for the 5th time and its the first time they apologised and I asked if they could give my phone number to the driver before he delivers as he's obviously delivering to the wrong house so we will see. Hopefully it's the same driver as last week and he knows where he sent the 2 packages last week. So yes, Yodel can help but choose not to, I wouldnt be ranting if I had no reason to...
  • Amazon should simply include the option for you to choose which delivery company you want.

    what a laugh :rotfl::rotfl:

    how many online companies do this, its not up to the buyer which delivery company a retailer uses. a retailer which try and use the one that is cheaper for them, so they dont have to charge higher delivery costs.

    i use amazon a lot and 9/10 my goods arrive before their estimated delivery time and i have never had goods go missing or arrive latter than their estimated delivery times.

    Amazon use Yodel. Amazon lose custom. simples.

    Will be using other firms but amazon while they don't state their courier or otherwise indicate Yodel not being used

    Do you mean HDNL or DHL ?
    Did you know both of them have formed together as ...............................YODEL :D
  • Personally I'm dying to have my Amazon orders delivered by YODHL hdnl because everything delivered so far from Amazon comes by royal mail and not once have I had tracking or set date for delivery even with first class.

    At least with HDNL I can track my parcel and know roughly when it SHOULD be delivered.
  • The Yodel courier delivered a parcel from Amazon on 9 December and his driving skills left a lot to be desired. In turning around he drove into a post and then drove over the garden knocking down and destroying a standard lamp. He drove off into the night although there was an almighty bang. Trying to get a sensible response from either Yodel or Amazon other than 'looking into it' has been soul destroying and very time wasting and costly.
    I have been 'cut off' the phone more times than you can imagine. We now have no lights outside. Surely one of these two should pay for the damage?

    I'm sure they will be devastated to lose your custom and their accountants are preparing for the loss of income.

    To put all this in perspective. Yes there are some complaints on mse and in other places but considering the amount of deliveries at this time of year it's a small percentage. The majority of customers will be getting their items with no problem. If people started a thread everytime they received their goods with no problem there would be no other subject on mse.

    Those of you who are going to boycott amazon until they change couriers (which they won't do). Who is going to suffer? Amazon won't with the size of their customer base. You'll probably just end up buying your items elsewhere for more money.
