Petition: Amazon Stop Using Yodel

so they can't use Hermes, they can't use Yodel (who are infact HDNL & DHL), RM is constantly under scrutiny. I'm told carrier pigeons are no longer used.
So tell me... at the end of all this, how do you propose they get orders to customers?0 -
Last week I placed an Amazon order for 3 items, all of which were for next day delivery. 9I ordered in plenty of time for this).
They didn't arrive as expected and when I checked the HDNL website, no tracking info had been entered.
The packages were delivered 2 days after ordering, at which time the tracking info showed this:
I have e-mailed both Amazon and HDNL asking why a shipment that was received at my local HDNL depot before midnight on the 5th Dec wasn't put on the delivery van until almost 11am on the 7th December.
As yet I've not had a reply from either party.0 -

When Amazon used RM special delivery, I never once had anything delivered late. However, since they have switched to HDNL, I rarely get the promised "next day" service.0 -

But others may. It's a bit of a hit or miss situation.
At home never had any probs (other than the postie occassionally putting the mail on the doormat rather than through the letter box), but at work (only about 5 mins away) parcels was being delivered everywhere but us. Inks worth hundreds delivered to the wrong shop -- wedding dresses for a bridal shop down the road being delivered to us! Bit of a mess really.

HDNL have always been unreliable. They have very "flexible" tracking info which seems to change retrospectively to suit their own agenda. I have been a long term Amazon shopper and never had an issue with deliveries prior to HDNL, and then Yodel.
If there was a box to tick "not yodel" I would click it every time.0 -

White Arrow (reliable) rebranded to HDNL become unreliable
DHL Home (reliable) merged with HDNL and become Yodel
Yodel are reliable or unreliable depending if you get a delivery from an ex DHL home or HDNL depot/driver.0 -
To be honest I didnt even know Amazon used Yodel. Ive never had problems through amazon but ordering through La Senza and GetTheLabel, 3 different packages, posted to 3 different address and not one of them to me and I have no idea where they are and Yodels customer service is shockingly bad in my opinion, rude and unhelpful. Srange that when I order through amazon theres no problems..?0

OP I've signed the petition. Yodel are the worst company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with - rude staff, unreliable deliveries, and a complete disinterest in the customer.0

wow - 104 signatures in over a week in their most busy week of the year!!! Yes i'm sure Amazon will be very concerned about this poll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0

Yodel seems to work ok for me , the local HDNL depot are normally pretty good but the DHL depot is great , looks like I've still got the same driver / route as I had from the DHL days , hope they don't mess with the set up as he's always here before 9:30 am.WolvesAreStayinUp wrote: »To be honest I didnt even know Amazon used Yodel. Have you asked GTL for tracking information ?
I've never had tracking info off them on any order just an email to say it's been sent out so it's easy to understand why Yodel cannot help if you don't have the info.0
