  • Well done people, lots of money made by all!

I have done pretty well myself this month really.

Money in from TopCashBack, Gala Bingo (:o), a First Aid course at work, Amex cashback, matched betting, ebay and savings interest has resulted in a bank balance of £667.33. I will receive about a further £45 in the next week but that will probably cover my ebay costs so ill stick at £667.33. :D

Hopefully I can do as well next month. As I have sold most of my sell-able items now I might struggle, but we'll see.

I have also received £20 in Amazon vouchers for a Lovefilm trial (cost me £9.99 as I decided to have another month of it), £20 in Sainsburys vouchers and £10 in Tesco vouchers! Only including money I can physically bank though, but a great bonus.

Keep it up everyone, and welcome to all the people just joining :T

  • More money came in from the freelancing work taking me up to 558, which for the first month isn't bad. I'm also considering that £6k is the basic target for me, so on course to exceed that so far, and already have the work ready for Feb to keep exceeding it.
    DFW - DEBT FREEEEEE!

    Total - 10762/10762 :)

Every silver lining has its cloud.
  • Hello All! Seeing lots of healthy numbers. I banned myself from most of the internet and TV so that could concentrate on getting work done. Feel very proud finished all my websites off, and other than a few tweaks my etsy shops are ready to go.

This month made about £570 from freelancing, however I have had 3 more design enquiries, so I hope to make a little more next month. But, having such a positive start and having completed most of my goals for January has been fantastic.

Today, just going to sort through my accounts, I have been keeping a spending diary which has been fantastic for keeping me on track and organised with my finances. And I will update my monthly tracking spreadsheet for my targets and budgets. The spreadsheets have been brilliant as it has forced me to be honest about what I am making and what I am spending. Here's to a money making February!:j

    Hi Everyone

Some great totals for January. :D

    My final total was £705.

Today £12 - small change jar.
  • Can't believe it's February already! Challenge is still going great, total shot right up this week! It's been a great one! I won a weeks hire of a ferrari spider with petrol and insurance! (worth almost £4k if you include the delivery!) I was going to spend £500 on OHs gift but am giving him this instead which means I can add the money to my total! Had some other bits and bobs this week which have gone in the xmas cupboard and saved me even more money! I also opened my change pot (silver only) and there was £47! which paid off some towards the gas bill - didn't miss the money and have started a new pot for this month!

On the other hand, I'm running out of things to sell and have been feeling ill this week so not got as much done as I could have - plus side, hibernating inside means loads of surveys and swagbucks! Cashed out £15 in amazon vouchers from them this week! All this extra stufff and I'm going to need to modify my spreadsheet a bit more!

All ticking along nicely here. Still very little actual income to show for it but the foundation stones are in place and in the next few weeks I hope to be actually trading or well on my way :)

have made a bit of a life decision, i'm selling my jewellery business after 5 years. I have lots of stock including quite a few shamballa style macarme bracelets so i hope that will fetch a pretty penny
