    Hi everyone,

Not much to report re the savings. Bit slow actually. :( I've applied for a few jobs - really hoping once I get something I can put most of what I earn into savings, so that is my priority! Got a few more bits for ebay. Really want to try matched betting, bit scared though haha! I've read up a little about it but still none the wiser. Anyway...when I figure it out I'll try and get something from that for the savings pot!

Hope you all had a good weekend! x

Does anyone do the bingo sites? They give free tenners etc to play with, I think.

  • I like this weeks challange :)

    Things I've done in Jan
    - Sold stuff on ebay
    - Rearraged my debt to reduce interest
    - Worked on pointings to sell
    Things I'll do in Feb
    - Sell more stuff on eBay
    - Trade in old phone
    - Sell necklaces and prints at a vintage fair.

I'm looking forward to next month as hopefully it will be the first of many fairs at which I sell my art and craft work :)
  • I am really noticing my Etsy shop views and sales are going up the last couple of weeks - At the start of January I totally re-stocked my shop, added a new shop banner and made sure my photographs were all good quality and since then I have had loads of people adding my items to treasury lists and favorites which increases chances of selling... worth a try for other Etsy shop owners? :)

Have got more ebay items ending tonight, should be at least £30 more to add to my total.

  • hi NatSte0,

have done a couple of the bingo offers. Typically you deposit £10 and they add a £20 bonus to it. You have to be a bit careful as you usually have to play a minimum amount before you can take out any winnings. This is likely to be an extra £10 of your own money unless you have a win with the first £10+£20 bonus.

Still, the most you can lose is £10 or £20, and one win could be worth a fair bit more than that.

Also, some of them have free games that you can play every day at no cost which give you a chance of winning a few pounds extra.

2012 Comp wins: gig tickets, wallchart, charity comedy gala tickets, shopping vouchers
