    Hiya,

Hope everyones ok and doing well.

Not gotten off to a flying start with the challenge by any stretch of the imagination but thought I'd better make a start in earnest.

Sig updated to reflect the usual monthly savings/investments and also a credit card payment, the very last one, woohoo!!

well think i have sold my bed so £60 in the pot ,however think i'm letting my neice take dd to london in feb so guess what yip straight to there but hey its not coming out of the bank and dd agreed to use her xmas money .She finds it very difficult to spend money lol, unlike myself but the thought of a show and the london eye was to much for her so feel good about this better than £100 worth of moshi monsters . so we will go 50/50 on the trip which will leave her £40 to spend for 3 days .thought dh wouldn't let her go but her i took said neice to london at roughly the same age think he is finding it hard with dd growing up but basically said do what you think is best so hey she will be a very happy girl this morning .

  • Haven't posted on here much yet but definitely intending to DO this! Except as I'm off sick I'm losing money not earning it :( but hopefully returning to work tomorrow if doctor says I can :)

Have had my Etsy store on vacation mode as haven't been able to get out to the post, and also it feels wrong to have it open while off from day job, so hopefully will go back live tomorrow again as well. I have thought up a few new product lines while I've been off though, and I have spent today making some prototypes. I do think they look good!

I don't know if you all do this, but those who Etsy, if you send me the link to your shop I'll fave you so the rest of my circle see your stuff, and you can do the same so your circle seem my stuff? I also like making treasuries so I can include you in some too. I don't know if we're allowed to link but you can PM me.

I've also sorted out a few bits to Ebay, but I have to admit that I hate, hate, hate listing things! I'm going to have to bite the bullet as I'll probably need some extra cash for next month's rent.

Can anyone recommend an insurer for public liability insurance? I have looked at some threads and been getting some quotes but personal recommendations are always good!

Anyway enough rabbiting, I hope everyone's moneymaking is going well!
  • Good evening all, love hearing about the Etsy shops - I like making a little bit of jewellery for my friends but don't have the time / motivation to sell - do you mind me asking what you all sell, I love it on there and would happily add people as future sellers!

I have had a lovely payout from Student loans, £922 that I have overpayed (plus another 170 to come, they took it out this month as well grrrr - but can save that too!) Despite moaning about them it's excellent as I definitely would have spend it otherwise and I can add it to the pot - feeling happy as savings are adding up nicely!!!

It's weird, the more you manage to save - the more you are keener to save more :money: love it!

Good luck all hope those pennies and pounds come rolling in :)
