Hi all,
Haven't been on for a while...thought I better pop on because my motivation is slipping! Really need a part time job to help with the savings but not having much luck. Transferred £50 from paypal so that will be added to my savings when it clears. I was a bit naughty last week and spent £60 on treats for me and the home, but will try to be good from now on!
Anyway...
I am Natasha, 29 years old in 21 days (woohoo!) and live in Edinburgh with my fiance. I have 3 children - a 7 year old girl, a 4 year old boy and a 16 month old boy! I am originally from Warwickshire. I am saving for two things. The first is our wedding and the second is for cosmetic surgery. I was tempted to get loans out for either or both of these things, however we dont have debt and we quite like it that way so here's to traditional, old fashioned saving!! Just got to stay focused even though I'm off to a very slow start...£170/£12,000
A long way to go but enjoying the challenge!0 -

Really not doing very well so far this year although I have £50 more of the energy switch vouchers to add to my total and £5 Eflexcash voucher from the The Daily Mail to add in. Also £25 Iceland gift voucher so at least my freezers full :j
I am also in a money saving article in Woman's Own magazine this week(issue dated 13Feb) :beer:0 -
Everyone seems to be doing really well
Not quite sure what we can include as savings but I suppose anything is a bonus - am adding to my signature £50 Love2Shop vouchers(energy switch) £5 Daily Mail voucher £25 Iceland Gift voucher given to me by a friend. Also £20 monthly saving from switching energy + I am saving £15.00 per month into a Xmas club for daughters presents and £20 per month into a separate savings account for food over the Xmas period.
This is the only way I can do it so that I cannot dip into it. I really need to get my daughters clothes onto my local FB selling page but with OU study just can't get round to it at present.
I also applied to my Council Tax office to get them to reappraise the house I rent into hopefully a lower tax band but they said no and that I couldn't appeal :mad:0 -
Okay I`m in...need to raise £8,000 for various projects, and hope all of you do well“When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser.” Socrates
