Not taking a dog out at all amounts to cruelty, plain and simple. Why have a dog if you are going to deny it such a simple basic pleasure ? It is absolutely beyond me.

Poor little Staff has been howling since I got home from work. I do feel sorry for these dogs so over xmas, well the couple of days I have off I will see how many times they go out, even though I know the answer to that question. I'm not a nosey neighbour but because the 'Clampetts' make so much noise when they go out I know whether they've got the dogs with them. These people obviously don't like to walk anywhere, they drive the older child to school which is less than 5 mins walk away.

Are you sure you live in Kent and not S Wales because your neighbours sound exactly like mine ;)?

Just a quick update. I've been home since I finished work on Christmas Eve and not once have the dogs been let out or taken for a walk. I will therefore be reporting the Clampetts to the RSPCA. Can't put up with the dogs being stuck inside the flat with no fresh air or exercise any longer.

My dogs haven't been let out of my flat since Christmas Eve either.

Because we're not there, we're staying with family! I take it you've seen all the human occupants and are sure this isn't the case?

Must have been a pretty dull Christmas for you, watching the neighbour's door 24/7, did someone bring you a dinner at least to eat at your watch post?

I don't really get why anyone would have a dog and not walk it at all.
Don't grow up. Its a trap!

    Peace, love and labradors!

Considering the OP has taken her time to make sure there IS something to report and not just jumped in without proof, knowing the RSPCA will need convincing anyway,i think you are being a bit harsh.

Without the eyes and ears of the public, there would be even more cruelty going on unreported and animals left to continue to suffer.

The poster is merely concerned with their welfare and more than likely the children's as well.If nothing is done and the dogs end up attacking one of them through sheer frustration and boredom it will be the same old story " they should have been reported, this should never have happened, surely someone must have known etc etc....."

If you took the time to read the thread you would see that I don't spend all day looking out the window. Bit difficult to watch my neighbours door when they live upstairs! Sounds like this thread has hit a spot with you, don't you walk yours either!? thats when you have'nt left them home alone for xmas :rotfl:
