A week has gone by since I was last on here, and quite a good week too!

Workwise I have moved into a new team :) My day-to-day role won't really change but I will have a new reporting line and hopefully, the opportunity to impress. I like my new boss and am seeing this as a really positive thing. No pay rise obviously but I am hoping for something in the future

Monday night was out on a leaving do from work which was good fun - the man was there ;) No progress there but I really like him. He has made it clear that he just wants friendship but he's a fab guy and really like having him in my life

I have lost 3lbs this week :D I have really tried to stick to the principles of mindful eating and despite a meal out on Monday and some 'thank you' chocolates at work I've been sensible and am really happy with a loss. Target is to lose another pound this week

To celebrate I have treated myself to some electric blue suede peep toe platforms! I love them, and feel it was £55 well spent - a girls right to special shoes! I did take back the underwear I bought last week as my new motto is to only have really fabulous things and it wasn't quite right. Lula - I have confessed all on the Clothes Challenge

I am going to dinner at a friend's house tonight and have invited the girls to lunch tomorrow. Need to get the flat cleaned and tidied, decide what I'm going to cook and then shop. Then I'm having my nails done :)

And I've invited the man out to dinner on Tuesday :p

    Hi sweetie,

it's lovely to hear you sounding so much happier. Great news about a move at work, it's not all about money, just being happy at work is good for you :j.

Excellent news on the weight loss - mindful eating is great, but I'm a bread & cake addicted pig with no will power & only too pleased to be tempted :rotfl:.

Therefore, I'm back on the dukan ... only another 5 months to go _pale_

Well done for inviting man out & accepting a fab friendship :A

    Have a lovely weekend
    xx

Realised that in all that long post I never menttioned money - apart from the shoe buying! That will be because I got paid this week and March is already looking tight!

Weekend was fab - and not too spendy! My lunch seemed to go well and I spent about £40 overall so not too bad :)

Bought a black top in H&M, have already had to take it back for a smaller size but I'm still not sure - only £8 though. Have bought and taken back yet more underwear - I am beginning to think I am deformed :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Finally wearing a new, basic bra today - £4 for Asda!

Work is busy but I'm feeling happier already in my new team. Also trying to keep plodding away at the mindful eating. I have 2 hen nights and 2 weddings over the next few months and would really like to feel good for those

Money is pants at the moment - I really don't feel in control. I cut down to minimum payments at the beginning of the year with the idea of getting to the end of each month without using my credit card but it's just not happening - I'm doing the minimum payments but am still dipping into my credit cards :o Not sure where I'm going wrong, apart for actually having a life (!) but really need some sort of plan!

Dinner with the 'the man' tonight :D

I think the excuse was valid - and he has talked about rescheduling today :)
