We have 'Vendors' in the canteen, but there is also a 'free' hot water machine, and milk in the fridge, so I take a couple of teabags in with me, and have a cup of tea before my round, and one when I get back. So much nicer than the 'machine stuff' which they charge 23p for.
There is a food counter, but, fortunately perhaps, it is never open at the times I am actually physically in the building.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Ahhh rog free hot water isnt too bad but we have only free cold water. They wont allow a kettle because of 'health and safety' but we have a toster?
Anyways as i can have no tea/coffee it doesnt bother me. The problem comes when i personally fill the vendor in the morning before lunch
this is why i am resorting to leaving my purse at home... day one and a nvd :j
Juat wanted to share this as i am really proud of myself :rotfl: its stupid but i am happy. Saturday night mums oh comes down and we always end up with some kind of takeaway/down my fav pub. This is bad for my health and purse. However i wanted to try something today and i knew my bro would get a pizza. No he ordered it about 4pm (it takes 45min to cook and deliver) i went downstairs and started my test at about 4.20pm. So while it was being cooked i decided to make mine and mums tea ~ pizza slices (6 for 99p) so 2 each = 33p per person ~ jacket wedges (left overs from my lunch that i didnt take to work) 2 spuds = 50p. Now this all took 15min to cook and i cleaned the kitchen... my brothers took 45min a 10min phone call and the prisely sum of £17  the best bit was the door when with the pizza at 4.50pm and i was eating it at that moment. Per person i made tea for 58p each or £1.16 for both of us. How cool is that!
Oh and i found some tins of spagetti etc that i can take to work for a hot meal :T
Anyways that the highlight of my saturday and now i am of to catch up with card orders.0
