    Yup, but not until January 2009 - I was toying with the idea of Ebaying some of them? (It's all in £50s) but I'm not going on holiday now so don't really need the money.

    yeah went to work. It was knakering, was told by my boss i shouldnt be in though :rolleyes: booked my holiday for june off though :j have the thursday through to the tuesday which isnt too bad :p

    Well u should have done what ur boss said and stay at home! Good news is, I have 'permission' from OH to go to both meets, just need to check with work:T

    I just said to him this morning, while he was half asleep..... 'oh by the way, the next two meets have been arranged, one is in London and one is in Glasgow. Can I go?' Firstly he said no, because I'd come back all brain-washed like I did last time! I asked him if he was serious, and he said 'No, of course u can go' I did point out that he'd need to take the time off work to look after Connor, but he was fine with that!!!

    So that's the secret - early morning, half asleep.

    How was he when you went to the last one? I think my DH has got everyone labelled as axe murderers, but I told him there are only one or two of them :rotfl:
    Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:

    OH went to work (we work at the same place) and told everyone I was going to a Star Trek convention..... they were all saying Nanoo Nanoo to me when I got back (altho I had the last laugh, as that is from Mork and Mindy!)
    The morning that I left, he said to me 'I'm sure ur going to have a mass orgy, or they are all mass murderers and I will never see u again!' but other than that he was absolutely fine....

    I spoke to mine ages ago about the Blackpool meet, and he said that if I went, I wasnt setting a very good example to our 12 year old :o
    Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:
