sm, beanie & fac ~ thanks hun, it was an eyeopener but yes i agree the young ones want to be there too :D books see below  the cat nah its quiet nice now as he has one side and i have the other, he is a great alarm too :rotfl:

yorkie ~ i have looked into the course with the open uni... in 'brick' unis they require alevels+... I havent phoned them but really i should but to be honest i dont think i could give up my job and go to uni, the finace isnt there at present. I would have loved to though but in no way shape or form is it possible

Emmzi ~ what i kind thought. I really need any GCSE revision/workbooks (with answer books) however as beanie said and one of my friends i could just borrow them from the libary and photo copy pages :rotfl: being mse and all... however there are some on ebay for £1 + £1.50 p&p and also there are loads of charity shops in town that sell revision guides for 50p :j so i am hoping in a few weeks i can get/borrow a few :D

driving ~ :j i did it, my stomach was in knots all day but i have a new instructor... sad moving to a new one but i couldnt be strung along much more  so he thinks i am fine a few polishes and i shall be ready... however he will need to move my test 1) its too close and 2) hes on holiday :rotfl: It will also require budget resuffling as he only does 2 hour lesson because he also travels from wales. But imo that is fine with me... i just need to pass

budget and general money is everywhere at present... mainly because its wind down week ready for payday next friday... so spare cash is going out and change is being banked  will do an update post soon :)

You're still saving a substantial amount, and it's not going to take you that long to pass your test as the new examiner thinks you're just about there.

Where does the £104.50 spends figure come from?

    :D very true gem

the £104.50 is what i 'give' myself each month to spend on me and i dont have to count it... however £40 is used for my £10 weekly money so really its only £60

So you could add any extra of that to the savings, don't plan to but if you do then all to the good and if you don't then never mind

I agree with ZTD - well done you for standing up to the situation. If she comes up with the dosh then I'm sure you'll find a late deal (we'll help :)) and in the meantime you don't have to constantly worry.

    *hugs*
