  • well i survived :j :j

no it was really really good. The tutor was a bit rushy so a older lady asked me for help :o but i understood it so i was like :D. The group is huge (31) but they are leaving it for a few weeks and if in a month they may split it. Ok there were 'young' ones ie 17~19 however they didnt mess around much. We didnt get much done which i expected but it was good. I do need some books for referance however she says most is avalible on the internet, so i shall be printing some out :j but it was great and i cant wait untill next week now :D

jet, taka & spud ~ thanks yes it was more easy than i thought and people didnt look at me strangely :rotfl: it was also very relaxed which i liked.

yorkie ~ yes its GCSE maths. I had a D in 2002 and i really need a C. However i have found out today in order to do my OU course i may need an a level maths  however i 'think' thats to do my course in real uni not online :)

    Glad you were OK PAP.

I'd like to go and do GCSE in English - the whole class failed when I did it at school. Bad teacher or what

Not so far PAP - they seem to go off the person, rather than bits of paper, which is lucky :D

I can do it if I want to, and they seem to think I would be able to do it free, but I'd have to find out.

PAP - glad your 1st night went well - I'm sure you'll do great :j.

This Uni course sounds interesting. Some courses have different entry requirements for 'non school leavers' so it's worth contacting them if you haven't already - although it looks like you've got it all planned out!.
