    Hey Pap,
Just sat here the last 3 hours in work and read the whole of your thread (v.quiet tonight). I've skimmed thru it before and have been meaning to start from the beginning for a while! Phew you've certainly been through alot!
It's certainly been inspiring for me, and I can't wait to pay off all my debts and start saving!

Have you had any more thoughts on moving out? I'm a similar age to you (I'm 23) but I moved out when I was 18, I had alot of financial support from my parents, plus loans etc, and it's taken me this long to get my head round my money and get it flowing in the right direction. You seem to be there now!
I love having my own place and the freedom and privacy it gives me (did you ever get that lock on your door?). I live alone and pay everything myself, I'm not entitled to any benefits so my only income is my wages. (Thou I must admit I get paid well at work!) Have you looked again to see if this is do~able?

Sm i know shoking... my work trousers are hanging off me at the moment but i am waiting untill my other nice trousers are a little more lose and i shall wear those to work. I hate clothes shoping the size i am now so i am hoping to drop another two dress sizes before i have to go shopping  my ultimate goal is to be in clothes 14/16 and thats it, once i get there i shall stop and try and maintain my weight. I am a cuddly girl anyway and i want to stay that way if i can :) on my birthday (end of the year) i am hoping to have lost another two stone taking my total to lose this year up to 42lbs  i can do it i know i can :D

You can do anything that you set your mind on as long as you just take it a day at a time.If you just think about losing a pound at a time the weightloss will soon add up.Youv'e already passed the first stone:j stick at it.

  • sm definatly, i have shown that through debt repayments and savings, i definatly will get there... ready for my holidays :D

right little update from me :D...

beds on its way :j 4 days to go :rotfl: not that i am counting or anything  today i went out and brought a mattress protector and double sheet, just a duvet to get now approx £9 :D...

brought lots of things for college today too and the best buy ~ a scientific calculator for £2 :) spent £15 but that included some xmas gift and showergels so spending money stands as £71.06 in the bank, £25 in vouchers (saving it for something nice) and £50 from mum = £121.06 cash and £25 vouchers :D

bills are fine :) i have approx £213.50 going out between now and pay day and i have £212.?? in the bank so will transfer some over from my spends i have however (after tom lesson) budgetted two more 1 hour driving lessons in before the 15th, however i dont know how many i shall need  so may have another £20 to save. These bills also include the £40 bed money however if my statement doesnt arrive till after the 15th, i doubt it will, then i shall pay £80 + any spends i dont spend onto that account :T

I am quite proud of myself really as usually by about now i have spent all my 'spends' money except my £10 per week money... unless i have anything planned but going into the 1st with approx £100 :T its magical... i am aiming for an extra £50 to be payed off my bed this month :D
