I echo Azza. I bought one for my little boy, and it's terrible. If you have the money to literally throw away, then fine, but a Hannspad or Advent vega is only about £50 more and a damn site better

I bought one from ebay for my dads christmas present last year and he used it for all of 5 minutes before giving up on it. The connection kept dropping and was incredibly slow. It's now been sat in it's box collecting dust for nearly a year.

I don't get the "its ok for kids" argument.

Even if it is cheap, if it has drawbacks and issues that prevent it working properly, why would you want to give that to your children as a gift?

Carphone Warehouse are selling Archos 70 at £99.99 which seems like a good deal. It's got a capacitive screen rather than the resistive one the increditech has. Needs a bit of tweaking to get it working smoothly though.

https://www.avonstudios.co.uk is the best place to get the 10in from if your after something bigger i bought my girls from there this year and last year and see they have still got offer on at 129.99 ..it says ends last week but does work for that price still ..hope this helps

Hi, please can you advise which one is best the Archos 101 or the E Pad Ztouch Im not too good at all the techno stuff !!! The bloke in carphone warehouse said the Archos has the up to date android what ever that means?? Any advise would be great thanks. Its for my son he is 10 I cant afford an I pad so was advised to look at these

i have bought 2 for mysons one is 9 and the other is 11 they love them can do what they want on them ie facebook and games the signal we have is great it doesnt drop and is just as fast as our laptops so yes i agree they are great for kids if all they do is play games and go on facebook u can buy the keyboard and cover on amazon with extra stylus for 8.99 delivered
