it isnt an ipad ,but for the money it does a lot, wifi, front camera and a fully functional android marketplace, I installed angry birds runs ok,loaded the kindle app loaded the optional 32gb micro sd with Jaqueline Wilson books They would never know it cost less than £100 and is a proper bargain. :j

  • I'd personally avoid this and most cheap tablets, it only has an 800mhz processor and 256mb of ram and now i would say that 1ghz and 512mb would be a minimum for a tablet to run apps well. It's also running the outdated android 2.2 and being an unknown brand will probably never move on so compatibility will gradually decrease. If your in the market for a tablet i'd suggest forking out a bit more and getting a better one.

    terrible reviews on amazon
  • to be fair, 65 quid isnt alot of money

yes its running android 2.2, but thats fine for most of the apps out today, most will surf the web with it sat on the sofa, play angry birds and maybe watch a movie on it in the car ( children )

in 12 - 18 months time, yes it will be well out of date, but it will still surf the net and still watch movies etc etc

I have bought this off amazon for my kids, for the price it is good for an entry level tablet. It is nothing more than that, you get what you pay for. The only thing that bugs me is that there are a few apps that are not compatible with this model. It will be great for my kids, to browse the internet and play games, listen to music adn watch youtube etc. You can also have the amazon kindle on it (of which I have put on a load of free books on it for the kids to read as and wherever they are. I have downloaded a few good free apps and have had a play around with it. I think the price is reasonable for what it is, a basic tablet pc.

I just had a look at the reviews and the majority are positive in a 'you get what you pay for' kind of way. Where are the terrible reviews?
  • Fine for under-10s IMO

I think alot of people expect Ipad's quality, cant complain for the price and what it does.! And the kindle part is great.!

I agree it is mostly for children, people expect to pay this amount and have it on par with the £300-£400 models. I read the reviews before I bought it and most of the reviews are good if you have the right expectation.
Its cheaper than the kindle alone so even if you just buy it for that and get the internet and a few other apps thrown in, whats the problem.

Very poor build quality, resistive screen, very slow etc You would be far better off with a cheap netbook!

I know you get what you pay for and this might be good for children but look around before buying, these usually go for less than this on fleabay.

Personally I would avoid this piece of crap and go for something more substantial, the slowness and non-responsive touch screen will drive you/your kids insane.
