  • TBH, if they are treating you like this then I would do exactly the same to them. You have`nt done anything wrong. You don`t need them

3 months on, been wittering about this so decided to 'be the better person' and make contact.

Emailed one and got a short, curt reply back. Texted the other (who I;d been more friendly with) 'you still off with me?' at a 'now or never' moment.

Got 3 months of raving bitterness back. Nasty comments about me & another who stayed in the team. Got a text the next day saying IF they;d behaved inappropriately etc (they DID) then they were sorry. Not an apology IMO.

And so, I'm done. Time to move on. Don't need them in my life.

Oli - they cannot behave this way to the powers-that-be so they are taking it out on you! I don't think YOU would have reacted this way in thier shoes..........and you HAVE tried to be friendly and supportive! They dont deserve your time or consideration, they are behaving badly and I think you are right to just cut them out from now on.

It's sad - but not your fault!

Sounds like you are better off away from them; it's a shame it they behaved like that though. Onwards and upwards ;)

    LOL!! HAHAHAHA!!

    A) You call these people friends? !!!!!!? You must be a mug.
    B) There are always two sides to a story. Must be more to it than youre letting on.
    C) So you say youve tried to make amends. If it aint working, move on!
    D) Make some new friends. Forget them. Go bigger and better.
    E) Stop using money to buy back whatever it is you want,

Are you in a parallel universe? I am very surprised by your response to the OP, which is rather rude and not constructive. Not sure why you are suggesting she has been a mug or tried to buy friendship back. What part of her posts led you to jump to that conclusion wapow?

Please stop torturing yourself, they've gone and you must move on. One day they will realise how foolish and immature they have been in their actions. Put it down to experience. Life has a way of going full circle, who knows, your paths may cross again in the future but under different circumstances and you will remember how they treated you.
