Thank you, I am trying to figure out how to store the turkey its a fresh one and I never thought about the fact my fridge is going to be full! something warming hmmm coffee seen as I am the designated driver haha

are you getting it from a butcher? get them to 'butcher' it...get the legs off, crown, etc so that it will be in pieces - easier to squeeze in the spaces in the fridge :)

if my thinking is right, we'll be having turkey curry for about 6 months after! I'm buying a whole one this year instead of a crown and am going to bulk do curry and chuck it in the freezer in nice little portion sizes. Or, to go with all the basmati rice i have, i'll biryiani it up and freeze that as well

i would quite happily have curry for every meal :-)

Reminds me many years (Xmas eve) ago I worked in a cake shop the lads from the butchers used to pop over around 9am for pies/pasties etc, I asked them to keep me a SMALL turkey crown and I would pick it up after work, at lunch time I popped in to make sure they had put in my order, come 4pm when we closed I went over to the closing butchers, someone had sold my turkey crown  all he had left was a 26lb turkey, the boss had to give me a lift home and I had to cut it in half to cook it :rotfl:

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: For legal reasons codes are not permitted on the Grabbit board and have been removed. If in doubt please read this. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.

Asking for codes or offering codes by PM isn't allowed so some posts that were in breach of the rules have been removed. Please keep to this rule so the thread doesn't have to be closed.

Right, own up, who has been asking for codes? I've tried to play detective and I thought I had an idea but the posts I was thinking of are still there. Like Locarr though, I have also thanked Redfox for moderating this thread and ensuring it stays open

Thanks to everyone for your replies, shouldn't really have a moan on here as I know there are people going through a lot worse. Just really struggling at the minute. Normally I can deal with things but its literally a new problem every week and not getting time to deal with one before the next comes along, right after I made my last post I knocked some milk over on the carpet and spent 10 minutes blubbing about it!

Again sorry for having a moan.
sorry beki i cant resist, just trying to put a smile on your face.
ITS NO GOOD CRYING OVER SPILT MILK:D
