Can someone explain why asking for codes is illegal please ?

Not 'illegal' just against forum rules. The codes are obtained from buying products, newspapers, etc and are for the people who bought them. Asking for codes & offering codes would be seen as trading codes - the end result is that the person then using them hasn't bought the product ............... whereas the manufacturer/publisher wants the code to go to the people buying product ????????????????? perhaps ;)

I always make "cool boxes" for xmas day in the weeks before I freeze bottles of water, I save the pop/water bottles even the 1 litre milk bottles which I fill 3/4 full of water then xmas eve I line a stacker box with newspaper and put the bottles in along with stuff that doesn't need to be kept too cold ie cheese butter and other items that take up fridge room like opened jam/sauces etc I also put the drinks in then pop the lid on (or a large tray) pop a brick ontop and stick it in a shady spot in the back garden, take out any melted bottles replace with frozen bottles and refreeze the defrosted bottled :D

Great tip Miss Laid, I'll try to remember that for future, especially when defrosting the freezer ;) :T :T

Funny I thought maybe you were stirring things up but seeing how the posts were all still there I gave you a bye ball. Still you've just proven yourself to be the same as you were when you first came on this thread.

Now for a lesson in English. Can anyone spot where in the post Locarr has quoted that I asked for a code? I have never outright asked for anyone to send me codes so I think someone is just bored and has decided to cause trouble.

Oh and amazing how you could quote a post that no longer exists. Did you happen to save it just in case :D
Is Locarr causing trouble tonight? Not like him/her :D :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Hi everyone
Came out of lurkdom yet again to give Beki a great big cyber hug
I don't think your depressed at all Beki, it sounds as though simply like the pressure of having to manage Xmas as well as poorly kids
Your allowed to cry, your only human and your family would do well to remember that you are not superhuman-when we have family dinners often we "share" the dishes so one of us does the desert, another brings the salad, another brings the roast and so on

Re storing in the fridge- with the current freezing weather I am keeping milk and vegetables etc in the garage which is colder than my fridge

Often I find on the day because there are many people, everyone mucks in and it might be a little chaotic but so what?
Hang in there, it's supposed to be a family day try and chill and enjoy it if you can

    Xxx
