The reason codes are not allowed on the board is to protect the site from law suits. There has been trouble for MSE in the past with discount codes being published on the site that have then been used fraudulently so to protect the site, Martin has to keep control of what codes are posted on his site.
This is all explained in this rule. The offering and requesting of codes by PM is explained in this post by the Forum Manager.
MSE are happy for forum users to share codes, but they are only allowed on the Discount Codes 'n Vouchers Board and must be sourced and indicated who the code/voucher is targeted at.
Everybody wants the site to continue and to flourish so please adhere to the rules so this isa possible. I hope that helps those who don't know why they are removed understand the reasons.
Thanks
So I'm guessing that my post was specifically reported as there have been other posts since so either they weren't reported or you've missed them in your clean up. I'm guessing the former?0 -

As Redfox says the code thing has been going on a while, think there were problems a few years back with Littlewoods and the use of their codes.I'd like to teach the World to sing in perfect Harmony

Well I never got any Mingles, Koko, or Beef Jerky.
But I may have got a few Lucozade Shots.
Got about 15 lots of Whoopsies (Tesco Finest) but nit priced anything like the 2p/50p whoopsies I've had in the past. These probably average about £1.50 each. I got half a dozen other whoopsies that are priced between 50p and £1.
Sis, make room in the freezer!:eek:0
