The reason codes are not allowed on the board is to protect the site from law suits. There has been trouble for MSE in the past with discount codes being published on the site that have then been used fraudulently so to protect the site, Martin has to keep control of what codes are posted on his site.

This is all explained in this rule. The offering and requesting of codes by PM is explained in this post by the Forum Manager.

MSE are happy for forum users to share codes, but they are only allowed on the Discount Codes 'n Vouchers Board and must be sourced and indicated who the code/voucher is targeted at.

Everybody wants the site to continue and to flourish so please adhere to the rules so this is possible. I hope that helps those who don't know why they are removed understand the reasons.

    Thanks :)

    Hi everyone
Came out of lurkdom yet again to give Beki a great big cyber hug
I don't think your depressed at all Beki, it sounds as though simply like the pressure of having to manage Xmas as well as poorly kids
Your allowed to cry, your only human and your family would do well to remember that you are not superhuman-when we have family dinners often we "share" the dishes so one of us does the desert, another brings the salad, another brings the roast and so on

Re storing in the fridge- with the current freezing weather I am keeping milk and vegetables etc in the garage which is colder than my fridge

Often I find on the day because there are many people, everyone mucks in and it might be a little chaotic but so what?
Hang in there, it's supposed to be a family day try and chill and enjoy it if you can

    Xxx

Totally agree. There are those who are Scrooge and try to spoil things for other and then there are those who try to help others. I'm guilty of the latter

P.S. I'm not from your neck of the woods but a short hop across the sea.
  • Thank fcuk that, my twitter timeline will free from now on as well then. :)
