My mum nearly pees herself laughing when we play the game of writing a line on a piece paper and folding it over with just two words showing, then passing it on to next person, who then does the same and so on...

every year we have some kind of game after christmas dinner.

Last year was pass the parcel, so dont really want to do that again this year.

but this year i am well and truly stuck! The oldest is 75, the youngest is 26 and the rest of us are all somewhere in between. There will be 6 of us

i was thinking about some kind of christmas bingo game but for the life of me cant think how to work it so that everyone ends up with something.

Anyone got any ideas for a different type of game to play?

Buy a few packet's of plasticine - write items on scraps of paper ie walrus/turkey/toilet/rose/eiffle tower etc, each person picks a word out of the hat and has to make the item, you could have prizes for the guessers then give prizes for best model, wonkiest model etc
Anyone can cuddle but only the Welsh can cwtch :)

Thanks to everyone for your replies, shouldn't really have a moan on here as I know there are people going through a lot worse. Just really struggling at the minute. Normally I can deal with things but its literally a new problem every week and not getting time to deal with one before the next comes along, right after I made my last post I knocked some milk over on the carpet and spent 10 minutes blubbing about it!

With regards to Christmas, there will be my mum and nan (nan is travelling over 200 miles to come up) both elderly and ill so can't really rely on them too much, step dad who hasn't cooked in the last 20 years, brother and his girlfriend who won't be here while literally just as dinner is being put on the table, and then my OH who has already been told he will have to help. I have just never cooked for this many people, and my kitchen & oven isn't big enough and I am thinking why the hell did I offer I should have started small haha.

Again sorry for having a moan.

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)

Do as much in advance as possible, I prep all the veg the night before, a glass or 2 of something warming aids the task, if you have a slow cooker use that for the gammon/beef/pork even cook the turkey the night before its easier to carve cold just gently warm thru on the day, above all try to enjoy it x

I haven't been on much as we've had 3 kid's birthday parties this weekend. Follow on to the help I ask for this morning I took the shirt back to the store who did refuse a refund, tried pushing it that they haven't got changing rooms to try it on and also my husband had had to stay by the door as you couldn't get a wheelchair round the shop but they were having none of it.

I'm sure this is against trading laws, I thought a store had to offer a refund if they didn't have fitting rooms available. Think you should give trading standards a call, they are normally really nice and will give you some advice
