post 2381 and a few before
I am sure all the SAs at my local were instructed to refuse sale of all 1p items some time ago. I only get away with purchasing them if I scatter them throughout a rather large shopping pile.
I have asked the reason they can't sell them quite a few times and each time they try to brush it off without giving an explanation.
When I was trouted with the clip strip of sweeteners I was told there was a recall on them. I then asked them if it was a product recall issue as they were all well within the expiry day. The woman did not seem to know what to say and just mumbled, its not a product recall issue, just what we have been told by head office.
I really don't understand why they don't just put all the 1p items on the clearance shelves. If they don't want to sell them as cheap as 1p then mark them at a price they are prepared to sell them at. As the saying goes, look after the pennies, the pounds will take care of themselves (or something like that lol).Avatar courtesey of HC :beer:0 -

Not to worry, Nikkilala will do an online order for delivery before tomorrow night
Just phoned the brewery and nipping to the cash & carry;)
Let me know how that works, I've got clear glass shower and if it does thats a fantastic idea as I have a "few" tablets;););)
Had an earlyish night last night but just caught up with the nightshift now, How do you lot do it????:eek::eek:
Off shopping now for a few bits then attempting to load piccies on glitched digital photoframes for Xmas pressies. Laughed at myself this morning when I saw 4 £1 Thomas duvets on the side from last night, the duvet fetish continues:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Nipped into Sainsbobs last night and they've got some candles in tins reduced to £1.05, the tins are silver and called frosty winter, smell gorgeous and they gave them in jars too for £1.35 45 hours burn time down from £4. Would make lovely extra Xmas pressies or nice little treat for us girlies.
Hope everyones ok, see you all much later;)
Morning mummy.:T:T0 -
Quick question......if you got to SS with an item you thought would be a glitch and it scans normal price, would you cancel it before paying, pay for it and return it, and for either of these what would you say?
I say i've forgotten to pick something up and leave the SS till with my stuff in my basket, and go in search of whatever I'm supposed to have forgotten! Then put back the item I dont want and return to the till.0 -

The isn't much happening. Also if someone lists all the ongoing 1p items, possible glitches it makes it easy for Mr T to stop them all and spoil everyones fun.
It's best just to scan read a few pages, and if there is anything good you will see it keep popping up in posts.0 -
