Yup! :) Myself and the one other who found them reported them in the kitchenware isle on a lonley shelf i beleive, mine was high up but had a label, other poster found them sitting alone i think:j

That was me, found them behind newer stock of mugs in my local - there was no SEL for these, only for the new mugs.

  • How long did you cook it for? A few have said it doesnt need the full 4 hours.

Anyone got splenda pack details please, saw some today but not sure if right ones.

Sorry was away entering the Daily Mail competition for a country cottage:D. I left mine in for just over 2 1/2 hours in a fan oven. The centre is cooked ok, my tin is slightly wider than suggested so not quite as deep. Looks ok, as they say the proof of the pudding is in the eating so we shall see.
If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:

*munch munch* There are a lot of Mingles in one box aren't there?! *munch munch*
  • Sorry, I should have been clearer, it wasn't anything specific. From the wording of the PM it was literally everything that was discounted/on multi buy etc etc.

Happy that was happening in my store earlier.......none of the instore offers were going through on the tills so SA had each customer tell them what was on offer and they manually put them through:eek:. I didnt have a massive shop and it still took 20 mins to get everything through. Luckily thanks to you lot Im more aware of what prices/offers are on and was able to tell him the bogofs etc but Id be worried about some of the old dears etc who were doing their big shop and werent able to tell everything on offer

Bit scared cos Mary says dont open oven till atleast 3 hours! Sure I'm gonna ruin it!!lol

Just to say, don't worry about opening the oven on a fruit cake. Nothing will happen. If you think it's nearly cooked, stick a skewer (or knife) through the middle, and if no mix comes out stuck to the skewer, it's done. Well actually, if you're under the time she states, I would give it another 10 mins once you have the clean skewer. If you are around the right time, then take it out and it will be fine. trust me, I'm a cake expert :-)

Would they not have let you go through SS, pay full price, then claim DTD on the offers that did not kick in automatically?
