Hi all, sorry for those who can't be full of the joys of christmas:(
I can understand why. Some good news now:T My little sis had a baby girl on friday by c section. :T All is well, i was very worried for her as she has had miscarriages and a still birth in the past. Baby had to be born at 37 weeks for medical reasons but was still 7lb 7oz.
Anyway, also been to two Mr T today. In S***n S*****s found lucozade shots, harry hill salted nuts and splenda sweetners and the 20p yoyo. Also had Dr Oatker halloween decorating kits for 1p:T
In L** V*****y found dorman spicy nuts, 1p westerland plant food and reduced chilled christmas food still taking 4.00 off so got each pack for 9p. All freaky fingers gone, only saw blue koko chocs so didn't try. Also got sarah smith wipes.
have to get my head down and write my criminolgy essay. hope you all can get christmas spirit soon, me and OH live in one room whilst saving for flat in London. But thanks to all the support this year christmas is all wrapped up, have never eaten so well and if i'm feeling down just have a little peek at OH in 4p homer pants:rotfl:grocery challenge 9.86/600 -

One of the items they stole from me was a mobile phone, they used it to phone a taxi......... I never got my things back, but thanks to that phone call, a few others did and I took great comfort in that as there had been a huge spate of burglaries in my area at the time and the police were fairly sure they knew who were doing it, but just couldn't catch them.
My phone was the clincher, they finally slipped up. Thankfully I was insured, but it did take nearly 4 years to sort out the claim.
Fingers crossed they get the £$%%$^^ and I have to say I'm very impressed with the folks who identified the trainer markings here so quickly. Probably quicker than the police themselves.
Thanks. Had the police around again today and they seemd most impressed I had worked it all out and furnished them with photos of the footprint (and description of the trainer involved) and photos of the person seen by a neighbour. They don't want to get involved but at least the police have more to go on. I had another photo of a group of them and the officers just started reeling off names and 'he's got an asbo, yep and him....oh he's in court this week in line for an asbo etc' Seems their time is beginning to run out!0 -
Hello never posted in here before but have often lurked. Anyway I don't know if this has been posted before but when I was in T's yesterday looking at the air freshners bit, a customer came up with an assistant and they were discussing the glade candles, they are BOGOF so not sure if maybe the deal wasn't working and would be any help to anyone? I was going to attempt it but chickened out LOL! It was the glistening snow one they were looking at."That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0

dont know if anyone's pointed this out yet- the cheap basmati rice is 60p for a kilo bag, so its 60p per kilo as opposed to the 90p per kilo you paid :eek:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Still lurking here . Not finding many bargains at the mo not really got the time to look as work very busy. Could someone tell me what the deal is with the chilled food going through at 99p? Is it store specific. Has anyone tried it in Ff'ch or Tr'stre? TIA0 -

Is it wrong that I laughed reading your post? There is so many similarities with mine, alas not the trainer print / online detectives, but the naming names, asbo, court dates.
My investigation went from, normal police to blooming heck what the next level up boabies called? Well them, within 24 hours. When they heard about the phone, they actually stood over me getting me to call my network and list all the calls within 24 hours, and recognised a few of the numbers including the taxi numbers (more than one). This then linked the group, and then led to successful arrests. I never did get told officially who it was but it was a group of 15-18 year olds well known in the area. So slapped wrist for some, the others care of Her Majesty for a while.
It became almost comical, so many police in the area, cctv mobile units, and so many "works" transit vans around - police had been borrowing to be less conspicuous in their observations. They failed, and it was comical watching for all the wrong reasons. You really needed to be there. The scene would not have been out of place in a sit com.0 -
OldBear was yesterday's smartest player!
Well done
Thanks, Snap-ant; I really like the quiz, got to think fast.
Also like the forum and the thread here, (except when you guys fall out). I'm more of a lurker than a talker. That said I do appreciate all the bargains, keep up the good work. :T
