But don't they require the receipt when you use the pricechecker voucher? Otherwise they won't let you use the voucher...right?
Yes they do, but should hand it you back once they've compared the numbers on the bottom of the receipt with the ones on the bottom of the price check voucher.
The SA should write on the receipt so you can't go and print another one off but they rarely do so theres no problem returning an item. I would add that reprinting is a definite no no. If they don't sign it then just bin it once you've had your refund to avoid temptation or mistakenly printing another one.
I had one signed once and took the guylian chocolates back. She asked why the receipt had been marked so I told her. She was fine about it.
The terms and conditions state that if you've generated a pricecheck voucher and wish to return something, they may deduct the amount of the voucher from the refund0 -

Purdita YOU MADE ME DO IT!!!!
Haven't got chandelier in king, you bad girl......its worse at the moment coz I'm hurtin bad about my baby, shes still in hospital and we don't know when she will be home, born friday, not breathing, on antibiotics and things as has a blood infection now, breaking my heart and spending takes my mind off it for just a sec. (I'm the new nan but they live here).
Sending you lots of good vibes for your new addition and hoping she'll be home with you soon.....(the baby not the duvet cover!!)
It's amazing what little fighters they are and so much tougher than we think.
She's in the best place for now, but lets hope she's home for Christmas and you get to have lots of cuddles (and sleepless nights too by the sounds of it if she'll be living with you!)
My daughter is expecting too....due at the end of March! My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

I got a bottle of three barrells brandy yesterday in T for £13.77 which would generate a pricecheck voucher today for £3.77 as its only £10 in Asda. Just checked on T's website and the price today has gone up to £15.27 as its getting reduced tomorrow to £13. Shocking behaviour Tesco .
Wish I had of known earlier as I would have checked to see if the SEL for £13.77 was still up0 -

As others have said you have to shop in the evening. My store reduces to 50% off around 5pm and used to go to around 70/80% off at 8pm but lately been really lucky and they have been reducing to 90% off around 7pm but this has meant more people trying to get the bargains. I hang around for at least an hour as it all comes out in stages, meat, ready meals, veg, cakes and bread and flowers. Bakery stuff is always hit and miss only been 50% off last couple of weeks it seems to go up and down and is never reduced before the evening.
I agree about eating things a couple days out of date, it has never done me or my family any harm and I have been doing it for years. Have even eaten things 4 days out of date but I would not recommend it. I always have a good look over it and smell before a tiny taste. Mostly freeze fresh meat and fish and it's fine for ages.
Good luck if you go on a whoopsie hunt. Fruit can be a really good buy as sometimes not even ripe when it hits it's sell by.
I got a couple of pack of mattessons ham on whoopsies 20p from £2..I finished it off sunday about 8 days after its best before...lovely!! mmmmmm...mattessons!:D"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin
