Bt vs sky

The gotcha with Sky Talk is the price of calls to the "local geographical" numbers.
Otherwise, it's cheaper and you get caller ID free.
As far as their broadband service goes, I am very happy with it and it is waaaaay better than BT was when I finally ditched them a few years back. We've got the unlimited option, and I've never had a problem with utilization. The service itself is pretty stable and I am able to work from home all hours of the day.
We recently had an issue with our phone line and Sky managed the problem perfectly satisfactorily (with BT doing the physical repair).
In short, I am happy to recommend Sky.
(Some hate the Murdoch connection, but I don't watch Sky news and I don't read newspapers, so from my perspective I am simply paying for a service that does what it says on the tin.)0
