July for me is £60 cally - did PM you, so either you've not got to me yet, or you've not seen it yet - thought I'd add a post on here as you've only just posted. Thanks for the link to the spreadsheet too - would've struggled to find it otherwise.

  • Hi guys,

Do you mind if i join in too?

I keep intending to save money and it never happens so i'm hoping that if I join you guys i'll manage to stay motivated and keep track of it more effectively.

    I think i'll aim for £2012 but i as long as I manage around £1006 i'll be happy :)

Well my last 2 days of childminding were cancelled due to the Mum and one child being ill, so won't be getting any more income from that this month (maybe even in September as baby due then and kids back to school). :( I did however make £30 on an unexpected sale of something I owned, so can add that to my total for the month. :)

I have a friend who is moving to Thailand in 3 days and has been trying to sell her stuff. When it didn't work on Gumtree or through a work email she started throwing stuff. I stopped her and consequently she did 4 bootsales with my help and made about £500. I have taken all the leftovedr stuff off her hands and am going to try and sell some individual items on ebay and then the leftovers as a joblot for someone else to sell on a bootsale. The advantage is that I get to keep the money from anything I sell so I put 17 things onto ebay tonight. I have the app on my iphone and it makes it really easy once you get used to it. Hope fully I'll report back with a good sales total!

    Hi All,
I haven't posted my july total yet, I need to sit down and work it out. I will P.M the total when I figure it out.
I found out I have got a new job today:j. Haven't got a start date yet, but will be earning lots more than before.
I have finished studying now and might have some free time over the next month so i,m hoping to earn some extra money selling on eb*y and maybe a carboot sale. Also hoping to move soon, so need to seriously declutter:o.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

  • Hey guys,

Would you include tax rebates in your total? I've had two this month but i wasn't sure whether to include them.
