I've had a pretty good start to the challenge. This month's total is £617.57!!!! :T

I admit that £350 was a tax rebate so that won't happen again but it's not a bad way to kick off my total.

I also got £174 from working overtime. £59 from selling stuff on various websites and £30 worth of freebies, coupons and discounts.

I've spent a fair amount on christmas this month but thanks to this forum i've saved loads on delivery and sale prices so i'm so pleased!!!

It's quite a buzz to add it all up and look at the total. Thanks for the challenge Cally!

    Hi everyone

Well done! Such a great challenge - I hope we can do 2013 in 2013 next year!

My August was a good one - £813.95 roughly as follows:

    Airbnb rental £664
    Online surveys £15
    Cashback £5.10
    Freecycle freebies £9
    Money off 9.95
    Boots card points reclaim £3.90
Money back due to complaint £100
    Mobile phone saving £7

Sadly Mr Fluffpot is back on the Sky Sports as the rugby season has started.... still 6 months without was a saving!

    Good luck everyone for September
