Wig is suggesting that if your car has a loud exhaust it may have upset a neighbour.

There was a recent case on piston heads where a huy had his car covered in so much acid it was written off, possibly because he had a big bore exhaust on the car.

Oh right I see, no its not, it's fine, it's not like a lot of Subaru exhausts!! Like I said I think I know who it is and it's not for a noisy exhaust, it's retaliation for me supporting my friend for having the nerve to leave her controlling nasty piece if work ex husband!!

Heh, glad I can put a smile on a few peoples faces still! When I was a CEO for a local council parking dept we used to hate the PCSOs, if they weren't power hungry wannabe parking enforcers, they were hunting for duff tax discs or coming to assist one of us when we'd requested the 'police' to attend an incident. I remember being abused by a bloke once while I booked someones car in a disabled bay.. it wasn't his, he openly admitted it was nothing to do with him yet he wouldn't stop it so I called the control room for police assistance. Two plastics turned up :mad:. Pointless they really are. They also had a habit of trying to do our job telling people where they could and couldn't park etc and not being in the parking industry they nearly always ballsed it up and if they were really bored you'd see them snooping round looking at tax discs to report in our car parks :eek: Needless to say they got the nickname plastic police because they're not real and are useless.

They might one day.. but typically they don't see car crime as a big issue unless the car is moving and they can chase it with blue lights and make lots of noise in the process. Otherwise they'll be sat down the station eating doughnuts.
