Thanks very much Tinkerbell.
We are plagued with visiting Toms so we might get a pet porte.
I'm so pleased to have found this thread! We moved nearly a year ago with our 3 cats who were house trained and happy to 'go' in the garden, that is until they met the new neighbours and their 6 cats.....1 of whom is convinced our house is his personal litter tray. We tried feliway but he showed his displeasure all over it (whilst it was plugged into the mains!) and more recently tried locking him in to catch/scare/release him but he quite happily relieved himself and proceeded to demolish the cat flap and take half of it into the garden with him!!!
We'd hoped he'd learnt his lesson and had a bad head.... but no he was back in 2 hours leaving my 3 cowering upstairs.
Will try pet porte and let you know;)Your Beliefs Determine The Actions You Take...Live with Passion0 -
We bought ours from http://www.microchipcatflaps.co.uk/ in July and although we did have a few problems with it at first the guy who answered the phone was very helpful. It turned out that we were trying to program our cat in and holding down both buttons instead of just the green one. Anyway since then we have never had problems with other cats coming in and our cat is a lot happier and less stressed out. She has even stopped pulling her fur out. I would highly recommend it.0
