    :rotfl:Brilliant.

Love the Greggs bag in the kisser and the ned in his tortoise togs at Helensburgh:

    "Haw, yous - lookit me - I'm flyin!'":rotfl:

The couple watching the trampoline were quality too. "Oh, ya pig!"
Love the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, don't harrass them, don't deprive them of their happiness.
  • DS just spoke to a friend in Geordieland - their electric (& heating) is off.

Yep and theyve closed the bridge apparantly from Gateshead to Newcastle. It's really really windy here. Its also bin day in the morning so epecting lots of bins going awol!
    1,2 & 5p: Christmas day food £9.31
    10 & 20p: misc savings £2.70
    50p: Christmas presents £3.50
    £2: holidays £2.00
  • Rummer - was it a trampoline you saw?
Seriously, a little prayer for all who are still windswept, hope you are all safe & warm up there & that it soon blows over.
  • We had a phone call at work yesterday morning telling us that a child wouldn't be at school as Mum had been watching the news & it looked too windy for said child to walk in, we're in Berkshire for heavens sake, turn off the TV & look outside. The other 1199 children & 170 staff managed to get in.

Seriously, though, hope everyone affected made it through unscathed.

This is absolute twaddle and scaremongering by the media.

    It is now officially Winter...

In case you have only just arrived on planet earth from Kpax, here is a list of things that happen in the UK in Winter, though it isnt exhaustive so feel free to add your own..

    1)The days get shorter
    2) The weather gets chilly and you sometimes have wind, rain and snow
    3)Your fuel bills get bigger
4)Christmas markets arrive in your town/city
5)There are annual media reports of sales levels in shops,
    6)Another hamper company goes bust
7)Z listers battle to release a Christmas record
8)Christmas albums appear on TV ads by people youve never heard of
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
