Oh dear ! How very sad ! The term 'Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me' spring to mind.
As you seem to have some sort of vendetta against me and are not adding any value to this thread now, guess wot ? Yep....You are the first person on MSE that is on my 'ignore list' so I won't see any of your future postings.

stephenliverpool1 wrote: »Er no....I didn't repeat it and I weren't offended by it. Read again...I used the words 'Pis* off', which is not the same as quoted in the original posting. As I advised previously, it is a swear word and totally inappropriate for an open forum that can be read by yougsters.
With luck, the MSE user that used this inappropriate term will become toast and PPR'd.;)
Thanks for the compliment.

I certainly hope not as it would be a loss to the forums.
People are nice on the forums, it's just that there are different types of people and we all speak differently and give different points of views. That is what the forum is for. Someone asks a question, lots of people give their points of view.
My thoughts would be that I don't understand why you'd rather speak to the RSPCA than your neighbours?0 -
I can't believe some of the responses you have received on this thread, I thought it was just the eBay board where this sort of behaviour goes on. The Pet forum in my experience is usually a friendly forum with a lot of helpful posters but I have seen another side on this thread tonight. I have already stated in my previous reply I don't understand what the problem is here. You came here looking for advice which you were happy with. I think it's very nice of you that you were concerned about a dog being left for 8 hours per day and came here asking other pet owners for advice, just a shame not all the replies were appropriate.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0

Where have I said that I would rather speak to RSPCA than my neighbours ?
If you read my OP, I was asking for advice if whether I should contact the RSPCA with regards the care of the dog. As I advised in a subsequent posting, I advised that I would take no further action based on the responses & advice given to me in this thread !0 -

Thanks for your response, It is a shame that others aren't offering their support and, where appropriate, apologies as well.
It makes me wonder whether some people on this forum are true animal luvers ?:mad:0 -

Actually I think most people were taking the OPs original post on a "non dog owner" type post and trying to point out that things are fine .... it was when they reported SGs post that things went a bit "funny".
