I'm letting the cold air out
although I did used to leave the door open when I went to work. It is fairly safe but i've got a staffy cross and a wolf, plus a neighbours CCTV covers my garden

Wow, if thats the OP's reaction to SG's post I can sort of understand why he's intent on reporting his neighbours.0

Lets hope he doesn't go and look for any more of mine0

Oh, my 38kg of a GS wags her tails when random people get into my flat via the window (1 floor) to let me in via my front door if I lock myself out of the flat....
Can I swap her for your staff/wolf cross pls?0 -
you want them both for your one?0
-
we could swap by weight - my one is 38kg
can be lethal... if you pick her up and throw her at someone0 -

Ah, but someone might then report you to the rspca :rotfl:0 -
OP would love me then, Jack (Scottie) hasn't left the house for a walk for 3 months (Liver Disease so daren't risk infection now) and because Jack isn't out Bob (westie) won't go without him. Fortunately I have a large enough garden to keep both of them happy.0

Not all dogs are the same, many are happy to stay at home all day. Mine used to stay at home all day and he never messed, chewed or barked (unless he heard a noise) he really didn't care.
An owner will soon know about it if their dog isn't happy being left alone......0 -

Exactly. My neighbour has a JRT and works. Lovely little thing but from the moment she leaves the house to the moment she gets home he yaps. We've worked together over it, a bark collar which emitted a noise worked for a week or two then he got the measure of that. It transpired he was a rescue dog and quite nervous, she gave him the run of the house while she was out (peeing and pooing everywhere!!) so I suggested perhaps a homely cage so he feels a little more secure. Not had too many problems since, he's much more content and neighbour says he happily wanders into his 'space' now and enjoys being in there.
Just as we sorted him out someone in one of the houses behind is leaving something small and yappy out which seems to bark from 9-5 lol.0
