You should pay, otherwise they can report you as NPB, and you AFAIK you cant report them as NPS.
You would actually want me to pay an extra £6.99 p&p to some scammer... I'd rather stick pins in my eyes & be banned from Ebay than give in to extortion........;)What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!0 -

Hopefully OP can save the hassle of that by letting them open a mutual- they can't then open an NPB. If they opt for an NPB then OP needs to get straight on the phone to ebay and tell them that he cannot pay as seller has made adjustments to the invoice that were not reflected in the auction- and if OP is persistent, or gets the right person as CS the first time they will probably arrange for the invoice to be amended to allow OP to pay the correct amount.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. If this is what happens, hopefully if the seller sends something else, as several threads have reported lately it won't arrive, so the OP won't have to go to the expense of returning something tracked to China.0 -
Update...
I just received this from the seller...
Hello,
Sorry for the trouble.
Could you please give us a chance to improve?
We will do better in the future.
We have cancelled the transaction for you.
We have sent a cancellation request to you, you just need to confirm it.
Any further questions, please feel free to contact us.
Have a nice day!
Best Regards,
Shannon
Decisions, decisions... Do I just go ahead & cancel & save any more hassle or should I decline & insist for the free p&p & bring upon myself all that might go along with that like an empty parcel being delivered etc... I reckon the seller deserves a nice big fat neg feedback to warn others but can they then neg me in retaliation..?What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!0 -
They can't give you a neg. I would turn down the cancellation request, state that you would like the item for the price you won it for.
That may help them to improve faster.0 -

If you haven't paid then decline the mutual- and seller can do nothing else to you . Once they issue the mutual they cannot issue an NPB nor can they block you leaving feedback . You cna leave them a neg and they can only leave you a positive
