the dcu-60 is ok for debranding but not for unlocking

i misread lnjk's post. i didnt see you wanted to unlock the phone, in that case, you will need a service cable

I did this with my nokia N73 recently, the best firmware was actually the latest music edition firmware and now the phone is fantastic, a lot quicker and never drops bluetooth etc. I have lots of links to forums etc discussing it, if anyone wants them, let me know

Yup, done 2 6680's and an N73 all on Orange all brand new (anyone who has tried to use an Orange branded Nokia will know why !).

Works like magic, no problems, the phones all work 1000% better and much faster.

and sony ericssons.

i hate orange branding, especially the side bar rubbish and the icons. also they have removed the blogging feature from the k800i (i think)

Can I buy this cable on the high street (ie over the weekend) or can you only buy off the net?
