Well even though I have the items I am still going to forward them for investigation! Something is not right!! Even if I have the goods or not!
Not exactly happy with the lack of professionalism and lack of care for your teeth not providing a guide to how to use or how long to leave them on for etc. Its up to me to search out the product and look for myself.
Indian John - again you could be a person working for the famous whitestrips4u.co.uk as ive not heard any positivity anywhere else! So don't believe really you recieved them in 2 days. And how do you know so much about how they come boxed!! My personal opinion...just a thought......!!
As for them not being legal in this country well something needs to be regulated somewhere... as all we know they could be dodgey!
I hope the site goes down personally! Can't pull the wool over my eyes!0 -
Trading standards are the people to contact as they are in charge of policing the regulations regarding selling peroxide containing whitening materials to the public and also the sale of counterfeit / faulty goods. You can google the phone number of your local TS in the phone book.0

I have contacted Trading standards!0

Well, the whitening strips never arrived and managed to get a refund. I'm still not happy as I have had to pay a lot of money to another company to deliver a different product to get delivery for today when I should have had it two weeks ago!
whitestrips4u.co.uk have totally ruined this experience for me and after reading the reviews of the products I was really looking forward to trying them.0 -

Hi,
Please could you let me know how you got a refund? I placed my order on 19th Jan and have sent 6 emails but have had no reply. Have threatened legal action but that hasnt helped and no one is ever on their chat. I have sent messages on twitter but no news obviously!
Help would be much appreciated...
Thanks,
Sylvie0 -
If you paid by credit card then contact them for refund.
Some of the earlier posts on this thread have been deleted so reading the thread may not make sense. However all anyone needs to know is it is illegal to sell these strips in the Uk. Anyone doing so is breaking the law in the eu and Uk as well as several other countries. This has led to alot of problems to people not realising the hazards of buying products with illegal levels of peroxide etc on their teeth.0 -
Wow. I'm glad I found this forum, I thought it was just me that was having terrible problems with this 'company'.
I first paid for my 40 strips on the 9th of Jan, expecting my item to be dispatched within the 24hrs stated on the website. I then received an email on the 13th of Jan saying my item had been dispatched (4 days after they received payment). I then waited until the 24th of Jan to query the whereabouts of my item. I received a reply on the day [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM] stating that he 'would have fully expected it to be with me by now' and for me to go to my local deliveries office as the postman sometimes doesn't leave a card. Giving him the benefit of the doubt I went to my local post office where as you can imagine, there was no parcel waiting for me. I then informed [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM] on the 27th of Jan that my item was not at my post office and asked for the next step in locating my item. With no reply I followed up that email on the 30th and received a reply on the 31st of Jan saying that he has submitted a claim for the lost parcel with the Royal Mail and he will re-dispatch my item which I should receive by Tues 7th of Feb. I'm sure by now you have already guessed I did not receive my item by then. So I emailed on the 8th of Feb to which I got no reply. I then emailed again on the 13th of Feb to both the support email AND sales email. I then received an email on the 13th of Feb, this time from [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM] saying not only did they not receive my previous email but they had emailed me informing me of a delay with the re-dispatch due to the item going out of stock (as you can imagine, I did not receive such an email). However they told me the item was in fact now back in stock (what luck!) and they would re-dispatch as a matter of priority. I thought, to myself maybe this ordeal will finally be over and I'll receive my item first class in a matter of days...
Here we are 23rd Feb, 10 days later from the last email, 45 days since making a payment to this 'company' and STILL NO ITEM...
I have sent them an email stating that if I do not hear from them by the end of the day I will be forced to take this further.
In my opinion, it seems this was once a legitimate business idea judging from the lengths of promotion gone to by this 'company' i.e. the YouTube channel, the Twitter account, the Facebook page, the Blogspot and even a shopping blog site's 'Website of the month' back in May 2011 featuring the one and only [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM]. But I can see now from real customers' tweets: search in twitter @EllieWool @charlottej49 @theperfectsnail and from peoples own investigations on here about this product being illegal in the UK that this company have either been taking orders without having the stock, been completely scamming everyone or have just realised that this is illegal and done one. This doesn't explain their occasional response to emails unless they are just stringing us all along for as long as they can.
The bottom line: you can clearly see this is an awful 'company' that provide a very, VERY bad service, they mislead you on their website and will most likely take your money, leaving you with either an envelope of dodgy, unlabelled strips that you put on your teeth at your own risk or by the looks of it just out of pocket and violated.
I found a link to see this 'companies' registered address and you can make your own mind up if you think you'll be getting what you paid for- SEARCH: in google
Good luck to everyone in their pursuit.
I will let you know if I hear anything further from them.0 -
I really wish i found this forum sooner. I too purchased crestwhite supreme strips, 80 of them - came to £60, and here i am smacking my forehead wondering why i didnt check first..
I purchased them on the 1st march this year. found it strange that i didnt get a confirmation letter which is what brought me here. 4 days later (today) i get an email saying my status has been changed from "success" to "distpatched" - your post doesnt leave me hopeful...what was the outcome for you tsbfat?0 -
I don't get this (American?) obsession with 'whitening' teeth. Teeth aren't meant to be white.0

You won't believe this, (I barely can) but they arrived today. The postage stamp says they were posted yesterday so my guess is that they finally got some stock and are sending out the many back orders. Even though they told my they had posted them weeks/months ago - so they lied to me AGAIN. Hopefully yours will arrive soon.
I found their registered company address on google and had a look on street view. It's just a dingey old flat in south london, didn't fill me with confidence especially as I've heard that they have sent the strips out with no box, meaning they've been handled. However mine came boxed. So over the past weeks since my last post they've not replied to any emails but I finally have what I paid for TWO MONTHS ago. Not bad for "...ship all items within 24 hours". If I ever want whitestrips again I'll go somewhere else, pay a few quid more and do my research!
This is the worst, most unprofessional and deceiving encounter with a company I've ever had. I have been lied to directly several times. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR HARD EARNED CASH. They have no problem in taking your money and directly lying to you. I don't know how they sleep at night. Disgusting.
Best of luck with your order Dom, I hope yours comes quicker than mine!0
