Has anyone received the goods and do they work???

I placed an order with this website a few days ago!! They are quick enough with their replies before I ordered! Almost instant via email! Once order was made and payment is deducted....nada!! Awful service!! I have emailed and tried to call and nothing!! I will also take legal action if nothing is sent eventually! And for the item to be Legit is another question!

Placed order on 30 december, status changed to "Dispatched" on 5th January, until now have not received the product. They say it is 2-5 days delivery in UK.

Oh no! It appears I am having the same problem as everyone else! I ordered on 11th Jan. I initially made a mistake with my order details and the payment couldnt go through, when I emailed via the webpage contact us, I had an immediate response to say the order had been cancelled and I could proceed with a new one again. Before I completed the order I asked whether the 40 strips come in a box to which I received another immediate reply and was told yes, once I had completed the order I have heard nothing! no answer to phone calls, no reply to my 5 emails! I have told them if they don't reply by 4pm today then I will be contacting my bank and the authorites.

When I did some more investigations on this company, the website was featured on a 'website of the month' blog.

I really hope they do turn up soon or at least I get some sort of reponse I won't be holding my breath and will be taking it further first thing tomorrow morning.

FURTHER UPDATE:

After threatening to take legal action and informing my bank to investigate further I have now received a reply apologising for the lateness of such and my order has been dispatched and I should receive within the next 2-5 working days. So I'm not quite sure what has happened during the last 5 working days.....we shall see.

Further update!

Ordered on 11th Jan. Emailed 4 times and called no response until today after I had threatened further action.

The responce from 'Lee' the famous Lee who appears to be on every forum defending the brand [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM]... and maybe the positive 'Lee' in this forum at the top!

The response... maybe I havent been in to recieve the goods.. check with my post office...he would have thought it would be with me by now...... The website STILL says processing when apparently they have sent it!

I have never delt with such a ridiculous company!

Ahh well I hope they get their acts together and send the goods... boxed maybe? Or maybe not! Who knows!!

What did the bank say when you informed them of the company?

I also got a reply to say it had been dispatched yet on the website it just says 'ORDER SUCCESS'

FURTHER UPDATE:

Just been onto my account on their website, after being told via email it had been dispatched and on its way to me and I should receive it within 2-5 days, the status has now changed from ORDER SUCCESS to ORDER PROCESSSING....so is it dispatched or not????

The order has arrived this morning.

Unboxed in a plastic bag with no sell by date or paper instructions. In a small envelope which can be posted through the letter box.

Have no idea why they tried to fob me off saying it would have had to have been handed over as it wouldnt fit through the letter box. (Maybe its their way of cutting on postage?? Probably)

Overall totally unsatisfied with their service! Recieving the goods unboxed after 9 days, thinking I have only received them at this point as I have complained.

Well Good Luck with your orders! I will definitely NOT recommend WHITESTRIPS4U.CO.UK to anyone it is more hassle than its worth! Order direct from america or through Ebay/Amazon where you can complain and get those providers to follow up on your behalf!

I am in NO way defending this website as I do not trust at all, however, unless you ordered the 40 strips, I think they are all sold in sachets unboxed??

I ordered 40 strips so will soon see IF I ever receive mine whether they come in a box or not.

I also ordered mine on the same day you did, so hopefully mine will arrive today, but I'm not holding my breath, I informed 'Lee' that I will be taking it further if they do not come today.

Regarding the sell by date, the terms and conditions state they are not authorised to sell any product past its sell by date, so if the strips do not work to your liking I would take it further.

Liam, if you order loose strips you get loose strips - simple. You can buy them fully boxed if you buy a full course.

These are what i buy and do not expect instructions either, as they are in the product listing and official instructions scanned/pictured. I find they are more useful to me as i have white teeth to begin with.

It seems everyone who has ordered and posted on here has received their product, which i feel is important to point out.

Except it is illegal to sell these strips in the first place in the UK the European union ,NZ and Australia. The ones sold legally in America have expiry dates on , are boxed and have instructions in. It is also illegal to sell this sort of material without a list of the chemical contents.

You are trusting someone you don't know to supply you with a chemical that you are putting in your body on one of the most sensitive bits of you. Not so long ago there was a big problem with contaminated fake sensodyne toothpaste being sold .

There is no legitimate,legal way to buy genuine whitening strips in this country.

IndianJohn.........you appear to be the only person in this forum who has received their product as promised on the website....everybody else has had to wait at least 2 weeks before receiving them, that is the main bone of contention that there is no communication and the delivery does not coincide with what was advertised on the website. The fact that it takes on average 5 emails, threatening further action if they do not get a response and no answer to the 'office telephone' is ridiculous.

I am pleased you have received yours so soon, but what you 'feel is important to point out' is that it takes 2 weeks for most people to receive their product which is unacceptable.
