What i have noticed with chome is when it gets corrupted, it takes literally minutes to start.0

Why do you seem to be so happy about this?
Do you really think that the loss of Firefox will somehow make the internet a better place?
Everybody will be better served by 3 or more browsers competing for users by improving their products, not by near monopolies.
If FF disappears it will be bad news no matter what browser you prefer.0 -
Just reverted back to Firefox after IE9 started eating too many resources recently. Don't know why (Ido like tabbed browsing though). Firefox seems better, resourse-wise, and not as problematical as it was 6 months ago.0

I use both firefox and chrome, firefox is all my web browsing and chrome is just used for staying signed into gmail, facebook and a few other accounts.
chrome is ok but it is pretty poor when you have a lot of tabs open, whereas firefox still keeps it's speed up with lots or a few heavy tabs open.
also add-ons like ABP and no-script are still far superior in firefox than chrome.0
