They have good offers, i'm not sure which day of the week you are going on though but might be worth signing up for their newsletter just in case.0 -
As someone who works in Soho you've listed most of my favourite spots for lunch bar one:
Papaya http://www.yelp.co.uk/biz/papaya-london as one of the reviewers puts it "This is the best meal you will get in Soho for under £5."0 -

When I went with my daughter we looked around for quite a while in search of a cheap lunch. Believe it not we ended up in Harrods. I bought two massive cheese scones (One would have been enough) for 60p each. We only managed half each so ate the rest later. It kept us going till evening.
For dinner Garfunkels is good. If you go to Covent Garden try here. http://www.batterseapiestation.co.uk/bps_home.html The baby pie and mash is a good price and quite filling.
When I went once there was a man cooking and selling paella outside too (not owned by BPS) and that was really cheap. Pub next door looked good as well.
If you go on market days there are plenty of samples to keep you going!0 -
The Stockpot in Panton Street, off Leicester Square. They do basic but tasty dishes and you can eat well for a tenner or so each. The decor is staff-canteen like, and the place is very popular with theatre goers, which means the food tends to be fresh as the chefs are always busy.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0

You may find that some restaurants do a pre-theatre set meal in the early evening. We often eat on these deals because the children eat well for a good price even if we aren't going to the theatre.Try Sophie's steakhouse Covent Garden.0

If you find yourself near Victoria Station at dinner time, then Jenny Lo's tearoom is an excellent chinese canteen. Shared tables, great food, and about £10 a head. Her dad is Ken Lo (who runs a fantastically expensive restaurant around the corner)

Personally I say avoid the chains and stay off the beaten path - there are fantastic hidden gems down many a side steet. Why come to london andd eat somewhere you could eat on your local high street?0 -
We eat here quite a bit when in London: http://www.maxwells.co.uk/index.php
Theatre menu is good value, especially as my favourite dish is on it: http://www.maxwells.co.uk/pdf/THEATRE_MENU.pdf#view=fit
If you're going on a Monday they have 50% of a lot of dishes so you can have burger and chips for less than a fiver - great value for London!! http://www.maxwells.co.uk/pdf/JAM_MONDAY_MADNESS_DISPLAY.pdf#view=fit0 -
Try the Hare Krishna place in Soho."Never underestimate the mindless force of a government bureaucracyseeking to expand its power, dominion and budget"Jay Stanley, American Civil Liberties Union.0
