I want to expand on my post.. just been to the shop and have had to ring their customer service complaints. Used my voucher and also purchased other goods over the amount.. went back to look for something else that caught my eye and the two sales assistants starts talking about me using the voucher rudely and starts laughing loudly and carrys on sla**ing me off.. ov didn't realise i was still in the shop! I have rang customer complaints and let them know what happened, but I'm mortified, never want to go in that particular store again!

Oh no, that's awful! What did they say? Scared to use mine now.

Just remember when they point the finger at you they're pointing 3 fingers back at themselves. Whatever they said is a reflection of them and nothing to do with you. ;)
  • me and my partner both used one of these vouchers today. 9 got two pairs of socks for free and he got 2 flavoured lip balms. Thanks

I know, has really upset me and ruined my day. I don't use vouchers often so thought I'd give this one a go. Basically along the lines of people that use these vouchers are... Etc and laughing out loud at me about the names they had just called me :/ Head office have just rang me so we will see what outcome I have, never heard anything like it, was humiliating, it really was!

Just a heads up, I've just got back from White Stuff in Reading (only around the corner from office and thought I'd save P&P). Tried to buy two pairs of socks for £8 and they wouldn't take the voucher! Said I had to spend £10 or MORE ("We can't just give you free stuff"). When I described the terms of the voucher being no minimum spend (and no money back if spending less than a tenner) they said "The tills won't let us do it".

I bought another pair, thus paying £2 for 3 pairs which is obviously still good but can't help feeling a little cheated.
You feel cheated because you didn't get free socks? ;)

I thought the same at first jennyfeffer, but looking at the voucher it says "no change will be given if the transaction value is less than £10" - does make out that they're perfectly happy to be giving stuff away for nothing. I would have felt annoyed too.

So sorry you went through that Sherbert123, some people have no class and an unfortunate number of them bizarrely end up in customer service roles! I hope head office are able to offer you a groveling apology and something to make up for this, I'm truly appalled that it happened.

I placed an order online with them on the 22 Nov using a code they had sent me that was also a £10 no min spend. I ordered a Charlotte bracelet (cost £10) so just had p&p to pay. The order has been showing as 'ready to ship' every day since. I phoned today and was told the bracelet was out of stock but that I was on a waiting list and would be on it for 3 weeks. If the bracelet comes back in stock and there are enough of them to reach me wherever I am on the waiting list then it will be sent to me. I doubt very much that I am going to ever receive the bracelet!

I bought the same thing back on the 17th Nov, mine is still showing 'ready to ship' too :( Really frustrating as I am a regular customer and placed an order a week later for much higher value items which were delivered just a few days later...
