GWS Froddy; and I'm really sorry to hear that Wispa is poorly. Healing vibes to you both.

Valli I'd evict the wee grub and forget it was ever there.;)

    Agree with LW Valli :D

A few more presents wrapped, and two more rolls of paper finished (still have little bits and one whole roll left... Very few presents left to do, and didn't buy any new paper this year :D). Roll inners cut up and stuffed with shredded paper, so more shredding done. It's messy, but feels productive. However, the decorations haven't progressed and there is still no room for a tree in here... And its cold and miserable so I'm contemplating lighting the fire and spending the day watching DVDs!
  • have finished my ironing pile totally again :j i like it when that happens, although it will be full again once the washing has finished drying :( but that shouldnt take long to iron tomorrow morning.

Just trying to convince DH to come with me to costco as forgot a couple of bits when we went the other day. i also want a "last" meal out type thing and i dont think he is going to play ball so i may have to have the pregnancy card played one last time :D should be easy enough to do as its only been abused a handful of times since he has been back.

Seafarers enjoy your last weekend as a couple, I bet you are excited

Fireplace done, DH chopping the last of the sorted logs, really getting through them this year and think we'll end the year with none left in stock I'm afraid. Some foraging may have to take place.

Just going to hoover the LR and have a cuppa and then off to get the Christmas tree.

Feeling quite tired today but determined to finish the list. We have pledged to spend quite a lot of money this morning...on a conservatory, the best thing is that it will be paid by DHs inheritance from his dad so isn't going to cost us a penny. We are looking forward to Easter time when it will be ready but it will be another room to clean so maybe not! My aim is to have unpacked the house and have a place for everything by then so I can start on the garden once it is finished.

We are going out for dinner later so I want to try and get everything done by then. We are part way through putting the tree up but it was quite irritating on our arms so are having a break...I got in first to tell DH he was putting the lights on and we have come to a grounding halt so I can see I will have to help.

Decorations out of loft and set up, having a minimal christmas this year so no big tree but 2 small ones.

Found cards and wrapping paper so that's sorted.

Living room hoovered, rug set down in dining room. Two boxes for charity shop filled, so three by the front door ready to go. Some more shelves cleared from front room cabinet.

Washing in dryer, some hung up. Hubby did antifreeze in water things in cars.

I swept up all the leaves from back and front of the house and cleared drains in readiness of impending bad weather.

Hubby rehung and reconnected the radiator in the bathroom as its freezing in there.

Off to make tea in my amazing new pressure cooker, Kuhn Rikon which didn't cost me much as I had a credit note for Lakeland. I'm, very, very impressed. Made beef stew in 20 minutes last night.
