Next weeks lists

What would you like - the normal stuff? More Christmasy jobs? Deep cleaning before the kids break up? I don't mind at all but don't want to do lists that none of you want this close to Chrismas
Normal stuff, please; Sidney will be arriving next Saturday for 12 days, so it's my last chance to do my "usual" standard of clean til he goes home, as he's really quite time-consuming (though a delightful little guy, and I don't begrudge him the time and energy at all).:o

There was only one item left from last week this morning:
Friday - Kids' BRs or any other rooms which haven't been done!
Level Three
HH me time

So we duly tackled that this morning - only to have the guy turn up with Mr LW's Yule order of wine; cue me answering the door in my dressing gown, hair all over the place, and without my specs!:rotfl:

As to what the "HH me time" entailed.... I shall leave that to your imaginations.:whistle::whistle::rotfl:

Normal stuff and things to do before the kids break up please!! Thank you :T

I had a quiet night yesterday after baking pear buns  and taking the kids to their Dad's. Caught up with stuff on iplayer etc with no interruptions - bliss.

Today I have washed 2 loads of towels and used the dryer more than I care to think about _pale_ . After boasting about my baking the other day, today's loaf was a fail - small, dumpy and too crusty. I broke the prongs of a knife trying to get it out of the tin :o

DS has an 18th party to go to tonight, and the main item of dressing up costume he ordered from eb*y didn't arrive :( so I trawled our local charity shops for possible alternatives but no joy. He was going as a nerdy scientist, with big glasses, rubber gloves and lab coat (sadly absent) and DD has helpfully consoled him with the advice that he just needs to turn up looking like he usually does and everyone will know he is a nerd :o

Macaroni cheese, big glass of red and the x [STRIKE]crement[/STRIKE] factor this evening. And maybe an apple cake if I cba.

Love and hugs to all especially L-L, toots and LW.

Keep warm and have a good evening!!

BBxx

Ah, but it's the Full Moon tonight, which is an excuse for a bottle of vino (currently chilling in the fridge), a white candle lit (there's a tealight sitting ready in its holder) and..... suitable ritual activity.:whistle::whistle::D

LW sounds like you are having a good week despite the shoulder:rotfl::rotfl: Keep going:D

Flyingwise. Standard week with maybe a couple of HH Xmas sessions - got to get a lot of food prepped this week.

Also, can I have fingers etc crossed for good weather on Friday. Supposed to be flying to London for my sisters 'Wedding reception' and it looks like its supposed to blizzard. We couldn't make the wedding (24hrs notice and they were in Thailand) but I really want to make the party.

Evening

Nice sunny day but really cold. Washing almost dried, it's on the radiators now and won't take much longer to finish off. Christmas tree and decorations fetched down from the loft. When DH has finished watching One Man and his Dog I'm going to dust and vacuum the living room and then tomorrow morning DD1 and I will be putting the decorations up. Then DH will have to put the empty boxes back up in the loft out of the way until after Christmas, no room to store them in between.
