:(:(:( Just heard that a 13th Century pub close to here, where Mr LW and I have visited often, has been gutted by fire.

That's horrible about the pub Lamewolf :(

The washing three-quarters dried, it's spread round now to finish off but it shouldn't take long once the heating comes on. Been up to shops for a pootle and (as I expected) spent some more money. But I do enjoy buying things for other people, much more than I like getting presents. Somehow spending money on other people doesn't make me feel guilty ;)

It was getting really chilly on the way home and I stupidly timed it for just as all the schools were coming out! Hundreds of kids:rotfl:

    Boy have I been busy

friday errand then a detour to Sheffield City centre (almost, Heeley) to pick up a new pop up waste as my first one jammed then the rubber got stretched and it jammed every time so I removed it, rather than risk scratching it with a knife blade trying to lever it up. Found plumbers merchant (trade branch) without going wrong! Go me! The new one cost nothing (fair enough, been fitted less than a year) and this was the frog I started on three weeks back! Done now.
Weather's been awful - now WHICH flylady believed the 'dry, cold and bright' weather forecast and had TOWELS on the line...IN A BLIZZARD ;) anyway washing line stress tested with heavy load and bore up well. Rinsed the towels and spun them and they're now in the TD.
Have also posted Flylady xmas cards. In two batches *facepalm* as found two had escaped. *sigh*
Anyway popped into an alien Mr Ms and found a winter fruit loaf whoopsied - now transformed into comforting Bread and butter pudding! (Had to go; needed spuds)

    Anyhoo
Happy Birthday to Mudders and Juliejim
