Upstairs is tidy now and things put where they should be. I have ironed a couple of things I missed the other day, unpacked my bag...it is so easy when you go and come straight back as there is nothing to wash or iron :D and also decided to clean our ensuite after my shower. Going to be a bit lazy and leave the other bathrooms this week. I am planning on giving the house a good clean over the next 2 weeks anyway so I don't feel to bad about it.

    :bdaycake: Happy Birthday Mudbath :)

    :bdaycake: Happy Birthday Juliejim :)

    Afternoon all.

I've got some washing out on the line, not really drying even though it's sunny.

Vacuumed through downstairs, after making a sponge.

Also after going to the vet with Meg (cat). She has had her bad eye shut a little the last day or so and I took her to get it checked. Unfortunately the ulcer we treated for 7 weeks earlier this year is coming back so we are back on ointments, at the moment two different kinds and only three treatments a day instead of the 18 we were on before. That was a nightmare for all of us. Hope we don't get that bad again.

Going to catch up now before it's time to start cooking.

Happy Birthday ladies, I hope you both have a wonderful day.

Those of you with children at what school age to children learn don't and isn't as apposed to do not and is not and such like?

AGS is reading the book I took with me very well, but is completely thrown by don't and such like he has not been taught this yet at school, the book I took with me were aimed for the 4 to 5 year old age bracket, would kids in the UK, know don't and such like already?

Flying wise I have done some washing, but there has been a power cut here all day, in the local area, which has ment no water, as nothing to drive the pump, no cooking, no washing, no shower, no internet!! had to spend the day at the local beach and bar

    Hope you are well

Kaz - mine learnt that at about age 5-6 I think. Maybe it is because they hear it more within our language. Hope you are having a great time.

Parcels collected - still waiting on 2 more games which have been dispatchecd, these are items which tend to go missing in my experience.

Polly hope meg is ok, I didn't put my washing out as the sun didn't seem very warm and little wind here today

Happy Brthday to Juliejim, Mudbath and CY's DD xxx

I've just waded through a pile of paper and sorted it into keep/shred/bin/recycle. And I retrieved my shredder from the Tardis yesterday, so now I'm going to do HHS :0).

Think I'll listen to a CD of Christmas Carols while I'm doing it - found one in a box I unpacked yesterday...how fortuitous!

    Bye for now xx
