Sometimes I err on the side of caution eg if I want to spend X amount and have my vouchers and then discover that at the till they are refused then if I have bought say 2 higher value items then it is easier to take them back for a refund and try the vouchers another time.

If you take some of the clothing back for a refund do you take the receipt and are the coupons mentioned. I tried to return £24 of stuff from a £62 purchase yesterday but was told I could only exchange for clothing. Don't really want to do this. Wondered if I should try another store without receipt or just return with receipt and see what's said.0 -
Yes my SA did check for vouchers, hadnt used any on that occasion but the quit pack clothing ones were around at the time. I imagine she would have taken the points off if I had used a voucher. HTH0

most sa's in my local check for coupon usage, so i try to purchase clothing i know i wont be returning........ have had the value of coupons used deleted from clothing refunds sometimes.......0
