My store don't give a receipt when you exchange anything

I've swapped loads of clothes and shown receipts with loads of coupons on. Only once have I ever been asked what the coupons were and I told them they were clubcard vouchers. Some stores will allow you to swap for toys, DVDs etc but most will only allow swaps for clothing without a receipt.
I was wondering whether the print out on the receipt when using clubcard vouchers was the same as when using money off coupons.
Many thanks, I'll be using that excuse, if asked, next time I return some stuff.0 -

mojy wrote:Posted this message on another thread but wonder if anyone here has any ideas. I bought £36 ladies clothes and £25 Kids clothes. Total £61.
Used £10, £7, £5 (springtime), £4 (blue) and £6 (quit), leaving £29 to pay.:T
Problem is some of the clothes don't fit and i had to return them. Had a bit of a problem getting vouchers through (£10 and £6 blue ones would not go through and supervisor came over) so decided to take them back to another. Thought I'd take them back (about £24 worth) without the receipt as didn't know what would be said about the vouchers. CS said she could offer me straight swap from clothing dept. I don't want anything else so asked if I could use towards other shopping. Told no. Is this Tesco policy or should I try another store or just take them back with receipt.
Any ideas appreciated.
try another customer services person some just refund anything customer is always right others won't refund anything so it's not a real policy often. Go back when next shopping and try again. I found the electrical dept best if the cs is empty they put most things through. Good luck0 -
Can you return it anywhere then, I thought it would only be Customer Service desk. Also, re. clubcard vouchers, do these come in amounts such as £4, £5 etc. Only ones I've ever had came in multiples of £2.50 I think.0

yes i also was wondering about this , do the clubcard vouchers look the same on the receipt as when using a coupon, or does it state c/c voucher ?dont wait for your boat to come in, get in a dingy and row out to it!!!0 -
When you use your clubcard vouchers it just says coupon the same as any other coupon so you cannot tell the difference. If you take something back and they ask you if you used clothing vouchers, just say it was clubcard vouchers.0
