Ooh, I can find *many* excuses not to do it Macgirl :rotfl: My record so far is getting to day 9, but then I am soooo bored of it
and not yet ready to go on to the second stage. Have you seen physical results?

I don't think I could cope with Shred, but I am going to use my new Kinect to dance workout at least three mornings a week as I should be starting work at 12 rather than 9.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Mac...I broke my finger - but only AFTER shred, as I was taking my leggings off to get into the shower. Just caught it on the fabric and it snapped. :rotfl:
So....gym done, and I can definitely feel that I have been working after a few weeks off - I haven't been to the gym since the week I had that sickness bug at the beginning of December, so a month has gone by during which I have done little exercise and of course have eaten well.....my weight is still steady, but like I say, I certainly felt all of that when I was working out today!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Yes Benben, not a 6 pack, but defo a flatter stomach and more energy. When I'm running I feel like I have more power to run up hills which I'm sure is down to Shred. I found level 2 to be a KILLER, but as our Jill says - this is where the magic happens :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Horses for courses, but I had it for months before I started doing it regularly, now I'm glad I did0 -
Ouch to the finger H :eek:0

It was pretty horrid for 8 weeks or so, but thankfully is all ok now. For something so silly, it gave me a whole lot of grief!!!
I found that Shred helped with my running too, and once you get a couple of days into level 2 it really is not so bad!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Lol, and thanks KC - it is amazing how quickly you can forget that you have had 10 days or so away from the grindstone! Feels like I have never been away :rotfl:
Failed on the not buying coffee thing today, on account of little sleep and then finding that my milk was out of date and past its best....so by the time I passed Costa, I really did need caffeine. I have allowed myself one coffee a week, so this will have to be it, and I will ensure that I get some milk sorted before I get home!
I did bring in lunch today, though, so redeem myself a little. Roast beef salad.....:)
milann - I am signed up for the Brighton Marathon in April, but may decide to defer until next year. I am enjoying going to the gym but haven't been out running, so unless I suddenly get the urge to pound the pavements again, I need a bit more time.
Am signed up for spinning and pilates tomorrow - so today will be a non-exercise day, having gone to the gym yesterday.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
