    Also still waiting on EON :(

    Apparently I'm still pending on their spreadsheet but advisor didn't have any idea how much longer I need to wait :(
  • EDF's terms state that you can only use them as a FIT supplier if they also are your electricity provider. [Quite ironic considering that EDF admit that the two 'accounts' are treated completely separately.]

    Does EON have the same requirement? I can't find anything in their FIT terms on the website to that effect. Our duel fuel fixed rate deal with EDF doesn't finish until 30th Sept, but we'd like to switch FIT supplier before then if we can given EDF's woeful payment times.

    Hopefully we'll have a FIT contract from EDF by the end of the month, and will submit first quarterly reading in March. Then hopefully we'll switch in time for the next quarterly reading!

  • Just got my FiT terms and conditions from EDF via email. Duly signed and sent back.:j

    My eligibility date was 24th October, so looks like they will be doing November applications in the next week or so.

    My eligibility date was 28th October, so fingers crossed.

    6.4kWh generated this morning already and 2.8kW current output, so even EDF's delays can't put that in the shade.

  • My system was installed 20 September 2011. The paperwork was completed at the earliest possible opportunity and sent in electronically within a couple of days. In January, after several calls to complete about the lack of response I received a letter so say that my application was in order and was asked to sign a supply contract. {Was this necessary?}
    On 3 Feb I received a letter saying all is well and my meter readings will start in March. They will ask me to read the meter when they are ready! And after submitting the reading they will send the remittance to my bank account within 90 days.

    Hello that could be the end of June almost 9 months after the installation. If they had to wait 9 months for me to pay the supply bill I can imagine the fuss.

    Is this all legal? Aren't they just sitting on the govt subsidies to boost their cash flows knowing that it will cost me more time / legal costs to get an equitable & reasonable settlement period.

    I just phoned the Green Team and they have confirmed that they have received my Term Sheet and will be sending me a written confirmation.

    I can see why they say 90 days for payment if they are expecting everyone to give their readings in March. Its going to take that long to process them all !
  • My application was submitted to NPower on 23rd October 2011. Roll forward to 31st December 2011 and I was eventually sent their T&Cs to sign and return (this was after several phone calls gee'ing them along).

    The T&Cs were sent off on Jan 3rd but seemed to go walkies in the post (or, as I suspect, after they had been delivered to NPower). So for the past 3 weeks I have been sending them emails with pdf documents attached of the signed T&Cs. They still can't seem to locate them (weird and wonderful things must happen in their inbox).

    I am awaiting a response from one of their representatives to whom I have sent the T&Cs directly as she was kind enough to provide me with her works email address. That was Monday. I did get an 'out-of-office' reply from her though telling me she is away until next Monday.

    I hope I will be able to report success by this time next week, but I'm sure NPower will manage to throw a spanner in the works whether by accident or design...

    When my current annual electricity/gas supply contract comes to an end in August, I will definitely be voting with my feet (although ill probably leave the FITs with them - that is assuming I have managed to resolve my issues with ther FITs team by then!).
